“Hello Tokyo is a Japanese dollar store, similar to Daiso. If you're not familiar with Daiso, rectify that immediately and find your local outlet. If you can't find a Daiso, find a Hello Tokyo. They have a variety of items you never knew that you needed, from toys to makeup to stationery. You can redo your whole kitchen with tons of gadgets and storage items. Camping supplies, pet supplies, food supplies. There's just so much to see; you could easily spend an hour or two just browsing. Quality stuff, good prices, friendly staff. Thumbs up.”

The people behind it genuinely care — about their customers, their community, and creating a place that feels welcoming and personal. They’ve built something really unique, and you can feel the heart behind it when you walk in. Great people, thoughtful selection, and always worth stopping in.”

“I have only gone to this location a few times and everyone is very kind. The store in general is very clean and organized. I do have to point out one worker, I believe her name is Angelica or Angela (I am so bad at names but she was working tonight 5/29 at around 8pm) She was absolutely, ever so sweet and helped me out with what I wanted today. I feel it’s important for workers to be recognized and she does. Shout out to you love also I loved your nails! 🌸☺🩷”

“This place is a gem right in the open. I’m not sure how people are missing it. This was the old CVS on Western and Diversey. This store is part of the Dollar General family. The store is always clean, the prices are reasonable, they have a little bit of everything and the staff is welcoming. Sign up via their app and get a $5 reward and build points to earn more rewards. I love this place. Come through and support.”

“This is the best location of five Below! Well organized and neatly kept. Employees are very friendly and always attentive. Today I went with my kids to this location. Associate 906155 at Register 3 and one other employee were so helpful and attentive to our queries. Sorry I didn’t ask their names. I came to this location from Niles location. There is so much difference in employees between these 2 location. I recommend everyone to come to this location for great experience.”

“The owner is very friendly when you get to know him; I've shopped here every week from household items to gift ideas. I consider the owner a positive element in the community. We got to know each other the first day I stepped foot when I had just moved in over a year ago. He has also been understanding and a friend to my friend with special needs.”

“Five Below is above and beyond any expectation. They even have impressive hires. I cannot express how r8ddled with embarrassment I might very looked at returning a pore vacuum to this store. As the manager, cool inspected the device which had abruptly stopped working, I noticed that the oils and guuuck from my first attempt was still trapped in a suction cap. I offered to remove it from the return but she calmly reassured me that the device's integrity should have lasted beyond the first use and that it and what oily residue remained in the coil would not be kept for further inspection. She issued a refund for the full cost and even placed the balance on a gift card which I was able to use the same day. An issue of refund to the original card used for purchase mightve taken a week longer. Her five below transfer of the balance to a gift card allowed a preferable measure of timely resolution and made me a loyal give below consumer for life. Thank you thank you thank you. THANK YOUUU. I SWEAR. If you've never purchased there before, want something that almost Noone but a college student or fashionable adult is likely to carry in their bag or have as a conversatiknstarter in their home: Shop 5 Below.. they are above and beyond .”
3302 W Belmont Ave, Chicago IL 60618
“It’s my first time to come In to this Five Below amd it is by far the most organised and neatest of the Five Below’s I’ve gone to. And I’ve been to several in the Chicagoland area since I’ve been on the hunt for the Block set. They have a fragrance corner and I don’t think I saw that in other of the stores before. There are nifty workout gear. The staff was also very helpful. For some reason my coupon was not working but the lady figured out that for some reason there were 2 bar codes in the email. What a pleasant experience.”
2647 N Elston Ave, Chicago IL 60647
“I love it! Used to be just like squishies wherever, but now it’s different, I don’t really mind that though. They sell them at the front, restocked today on Wednesday. It’s really a great store, and everyone is so nice!! Thank youuu!”

“Found some more Block Succulent for my collection. Though one of them has $3.25 on the box but there was a sticker for $4. Lots of new items. Display are appealing. Staff is helpful. Can use ApplePay.”
6451 West Diversey Avenue Suite G4-G7, Chicago IL 60707
“Quiet and organized store. It seems a little less inviting as other Five Below stores whuch can be helpfuk sometimes as you don’t want to be distracted with other things you don’t really want to buy. You can just go directly to the section you know you’ll get something.”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
