We ordered an appliance package and chose according to what was in stock since we were moving on a specific date and needed them delivered the day after. Five days prior to the move, Home Depot sent a text saying our delivery date was pushed back a month. When I went into the store to have them look into the order and make sure it was correct, they said it was and there was nothing they could do. Basically, don’t plan anything with Home Depot No matter how many times you repeat a schedule urgency, they don’t care. I’m refusing it and going to Sherman’s. They deliver the next day.

I’m not happy with Home Depot at all I bought a washer and dryer 2 weeks ago I paid for them to hook everything up when they come to my house. They delivered it December 16th the guy said he can’t hook up my dryer because he didn’t bring the hook up for the dryer, he said the next day someone will call me and come out the next day to hook it up, no one ever called me I had to call them and the lady said she can’t have someone come out until the 23rd. So now I have to wait another week. I paid alot of money for this set and these people can careless so unprofessional.

I’ve been standing here for 20 minutes now waiting for some lumber guy to answer his phone/come to the front. They called him three times, he wasn’t in the store/didn’t answer. He gets back and walks around for another 10 minutes looking for 8ft boards. They have 60 in stock and zero on the shelf. So it took them 30 minutes to get 5 boards down. If you need any help from an employee finding a product, it would save you a lot of time just going somewhere else. These are a bunch of high school kids that don’t care at all. Ridiculous.

Kind of low on help, plus they have a bunch of self-serve registers installed none of them open....why? I went there one open register with 8 people in line and no open self serve registers. Stupid

Baffled at how awful the experience with custom countertops has been. I don't know if it is the individual that is communication between the store salesman and the countertop install company but sure seems like it (as opposed to the salesman in the store department). A month ago, we start to get texts from her asking if we are ready to install. We said yes as we had already been to Chicago to solidify the granite color we wanted. Never once did she pick up the phone to talk to us and offer any sort of clarification or thorough conversation. We were told we had to go back to Chicago and pick the actual slab of granite before they were willing to send someone out to measure. Also told by Home Depot to get the kitchen sink installed into the base cabinets ahead of time. The trip was unnecessary - the Chicago showroom showed us the exact same slabs we already saw and said that Home Depot could have offered us the ability to sign off, confirming we had already picked the slab, and saved us the 4-hour, round-trip drive. The countertop guy came yesterday, only to tell us the kitchen sink had to be removed and now has to come back out again. He had no idea why Home Depot would tell us to get it installed before he measured. The process is so broken and communication inconsistent. And now because of her terrible communication and lack of understanding anything, she has the audacity to text us a moment ago, not pick up the phone, and tell us you are charging us $200 MORE for the countertop guy to come back out and measure. I won't publicly say her name on here but the manager will absolutely know it.
