I called about a part for my air conditioner. They said they could have it the same day for a small shipping cost. They called me back in a few hours and they had the part. I picked it up, paid a reasonable price and was on my way. It just sounds like a regular experience but these days when so many businesses are totally incompetent, having a no stress interaction was refreshing. I will go back again if I need another part.

This place is a life saver. They saved me when I need a capacitor for my HVAC last summer. When my ignitor died and just now when my draft blower died in the middle of the night.
Great place. Tons of parts in stock for reasonable prices.
Hate to be in a position to have to visit so often but I'm grateful they are here

Greatly disappointed. Called to see if specific part was in stock to support local business vs online suppliers. Owner said the part was in, upon pick-up I expressed concern over the part number not matching. I was assured it was correct and they had checked with the biggest HVAC service company in town (w/ inference of who was I to question them?). However, I was correct, it was the wrong part. I had paid nearly double the online price to begin with but the repair was needed and I value brick & motar & esp local businesses. I was able to return it the wrong part LESS a 15% restocking fee! This fee is so offensive as they did not give me the part # I requested (as they didn't have it in stock), but instead gave me the one they had in stock & assured me it was correct. They were made whole with the return and can make full profit in the future on this part, but I was burdened w/wasted time & expense from the wrong part and charged a fee for the hassle. The 15% restocking fee is not disclosed until AFTER you've paid (it is only listed on the bottom of the receipt).
If you are competing with online suppliers you may want to do better by your local customers wanting to support you! I ended up ordering online w/ great customer service & rcvd the correct part for 50% less. Very disappointing.

I paid a little more for a normally stocked part (flame sensor), instead of ordering online b/c I wanted to support local business. I also placed a special order the same day.
I determined I didn’t need the flame sensor (unopened) and was charged a restocking fee when I returned. Who does this?
Since they don’t appreciate my attempt to do business, I’ll only go back if I’m in a real pinch.
Enjoy the $3 you didn’t earn, Parts Depot!

The bake element went out in my oven 3 days before Christmas. Staff was very helpful and had the part on hand. Can't recommend this place enough if you're a DIYer and slightly handy!

I am a DIYer and because of COVID concerns needed to repair my washing machine on my own. I called Parts Depot and described the “noises” my washer was making. Parts Depot politely listened and made some suggestions, they even Googled the problem and found more suggestions, all the time saying that they are parts people not repair technicians. The thing is, they listened, they had empathy for one little DIYer and made all the difference in my resolving my problem. So, if you need parts and someone to go the distance with you, go to Parts Depot!

Only hvac parts store open on Saturday, a long drive from Auburn, IL but worth the drive. Had my AC up and running before everyone else was opening on Monday.

The employees there are always so nice to work with. Every time I go there,it's a project for myself and they're always so helpful, like getting schematic on project, information that helps me with the project at hand. It's the only place I go for appliance parts.

I ordered the parts on a Friday afternoon. I got a call on Monday morning that they were in. Went in and everyone was friendly and helpful. Put the parts in and they work perfectly.
