  “It’s Schnucks… what a funny name, and what a glorious store.”
  
  Walking into the Schnucks in Normal, Illinois feels like stepping into a Midwestern food wonderland. Need the makings of a St. Louis–style pizza? They’ve got everything—from Provel cheese (that mysterious, melty cousin of Velveeta) to thin crusts that snap like a cracker. And if you’re not feeling like channeling your inner Imo’s chef, they even stock frozen St. Louis–style pizzas ready to go.
  
  The store itself is clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. The staff? Midwest nice to the core—you half expect them to apologize if you bump into them. And the name alone, Schnucks, sounds like a cartoon sidekick or something you’d yell when you stub your toe. “SCHNUCKS!” Try saying it without smiling. Can’t be done.
  
  So yeah, it’s a grocery store… but it’s OUR grocery store. And when a craving for that gooey, unmistakably St. Louis pizza hits, Schnucks in Normal has your back. Funny name, serious pizza game

  Just always an issue everytime I visit any of their stores. Not one of the sales I gonthere for ever ring up properly, self check out registers do nothing but slow down the process. It has turned into a place I go to if I need 1-3 items real quick on my way home. Anything more than that, I drive clear on the other side of town to shop elsewhere.
