Went to this beautiful store . Started off a little slow but it ended up rather good.I have to say so.The lady that works the men department.She did a fabulous job of sending me to a taylor I'd bet her very much she was super thanks

Very nice store and staff, always clean. I do agree they need a wider variety of formal dresses for shorter women however.

This is one of the only stores in town that carries formal dresses (outside of a bridal shop). They had to have at least 70 dress style choices for under size 16. I am 26 years old and a size 20 because I have a larger chest. There was maybe 4-5 dress choices size 20+, and they all were mother of the bride style with silly little capes. Definitely not age appropriate for a younger lady. So disappointed in the dress choices for larger younger ladies. Do better von maur! You claim to have a plus sized section…… so carry more than 4 plus sized formal dresses and carry a multitude of styles!

My husband needed to buy a suit and the menswear staff was absolutely amazing. He had some issues with the process and the staff were incredibly accommodating to his situation. He left very happy. I shop at Von Maur frequently and have always had good experiences. They are one of the few places around with old fashioned values and customer service.? Also, I LOVE the piano!!!

The girl at the perfume counter was not personable and very rude. She also complained about having to smell the perfumes all day. Ok, so maybe work in a different department? I saw how attentive they were to other customers, but to customers that maybe don't look the part of Von Maur are treated poorly, not a good look on the store. Especially, when you can find most of your items cheaper on Amazon.

I Buy a lot of clothes from here. Great selection of nicer more upscale clothes and shoes, lots of items most stores dont carry. The Staff are always super helpful and have great recommendations. Store is clean and easy to navigate.

I really enjoy walking through the store. Only problem is, finding someone to answer a question is difficult. Or even finding someone to check out..... and then when they come, they aren't very friendly. It's a job. Enjoy customer service or maybe get another job. I like their inventory ( tho over priced because of lack of competition) but they need to retrain their staff.

My experience working with Von Maur to purchase a mother-of-the-groom dress for my son’s wedding was excellent! From the lovely selection of gorgeous gowns, to choosing the right dress for the occasion, the Von Maur staff was delightful every step of the way.Chanel cheerfully helped both my friend and I on our initial visit to the Normal, IL Von Maur in December of 2022. Although I didn't find my dress on that day, Chanel assisted us, sharing her knowledge and complementary opinions of each of the few styles we liked. She encouraged me to come back soon because new dresses come in weekly. (Chanel took us to lingerie and showed several great options for my friend's dress. She also took us to shoes and pointed out a few possibilites to try on with the dress. Chanel went over and beyond which we appreciated and my friend found shoes that day too.)Early in March, I took an overnight trip to Moline, IL and found myself with some shopping time at the Von Maur in SouthPark Mall. I headed to the formal dress department and there it was! I knew the style that I wanted after trying on dresses in Normal. My size was not on the rack but I tried the dress on that was closest to my size and knew instantly that it was the dress I desired. Linda was helping in dresses that day; she assured me that she could locate the dress in my size and have it shipped free to my home. Any alterations could be done at the Normal Von Maur which was only 45 minutes from my home. Later, Linda took the time to call me and let me know that she had located and completed the ordering process and for me to expect delivery within a week.The dress was delivered to my home four days later. I took it and my shoes back to Normal where Chanel attentively called Miriam from alterations. Miriam was sweet and knowledgeable offering several alteration options. The hemming of my dress was complimentary. I received a phone call from Miriam within 7-10 days letting me know the alterations were finished.I was thrilled that my dress fit perfectly. I received many compliments on it at the wedding and was quick to tell that I had found it at Von Maur and what a tremendous selection they carry.Thank you to these exceptional Von Maur employees: Chanel, Linda and Miriam. I am grateful for each of you who helped make this joyful occasion so pleasant.I highly recommend the Von Maur experience for any of your special occasion needs!With Gratitude,Angie Hobbs
