I just had a very frustrating experience at this Dicks location at the Harlem Irving Plaza. Was trying to return some unopened basketball cards that cost roughly $50 per box that I had bought as a Christmas gift but then decided not to give. Sales associate told me they did not do returns on trading cards as store policy. That was obviously disappointing as this was a surprise to me and now I am out roughly $100. I Approached another store worker and asked if there was a manager that I could speak to about the situation. My tone was calm and inquisitive, hoping that they could maybe give me a store credit since I was not informed of the policy at the time of the purchase. But the other employee, who later informed me that he was a manager (instead of telling me initially, which would have been nice) said, “we’re not returning the cards.” I guess if that is the policy it’s understandable, but the customer service was pretty poor. No, sorry, unfortunately, or is there anything I can do to make it right? Just a dismissive attitude when I am the one left holding the bag. Very disappointed by the whole situation. The products at Dick’s are super highly priced, but I try to shop in brick-and-mortar stores rather than ordering everything off Amazon. But this experience makes me regret driving 25 minutes to be treated badly. I will try to avoid coming back here or bringing my kids to browse in the future. Bummer.

was at a different location looking for a specific shoe size for my son wrestling shoe, an employee called and placed them on hold so i can pick up, drove an hr to go pick them up so they can tell me they sold them delt with “kita” apparently the manager , that very indifferently just didn’t care. that i had driven an hr to come get these shoes

The customer service was excellent! I was shopping for new cleats, and the employee assisting me was very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive.
However, I was extremely disappointed and rather appalled at the lack of options for women!! Really?!? It's 2025. There are only 2 pairs of cleats made for women on your shelves out of probably over 100 made for men. The two you have are the same style, and neither of them fit my feet.
I tried on over a dozen pairs of cleats - almost all of which were made for men. I wanted to try on several more pairs that did not even come in my size because my feet are smaller than the smallest size available.
Did we go back to forgetting that women are athletes too?? I have been an athlete for over 15 years. How do I still have so few options for cleats when we know that women play every sport that men do?!?!?
Please, for the love of women, get some more cleat options on your shelves!!!

Went to check out some shoes. Was taken care of by an associate with amazing customer service skills. Left with two pairs of shoes.

Honestly this store is good but their employees are not.
I went in on friday 6/14 and both girls on the cashwrap were doing a horrible job with customer service. There was a line and they were chatting among themselves before calling up a customer. I was called up and attended by Stephanie. I was explaining to her what I needed but she seemed to preoccupied with her phone that she had visibly there. Then she asked me what I needed. Keep in mind I already had told her but due to her concentration being on her phone she made me repeat myself. The other cashier Ashley actually stepped in the back to be on her phone while the line continued to get longer. I was able to see her visually because the door was open and she was just there on her phone until she decided to come out and attend. I have worked Customer Service in retail and this was just a bad experience. I shouldn't be repeating myself because you want to see your phone. No one should be waiting because checking your phone is more important. Hopefully they look into this but this makes the store look really unprofessional.

Usually this store is great, however today i had an unpleasant encounter with a store manager to say the least, I approached her standing around clearly not busy and asked about a product I was looking for, mid-question she abrubtly walks away from me. Stunned i watch her walk away and eventually stop and point at a random shelf saying they're in the bags here. I thought it was incredibly rude to walk away but since she still helped me I guess I walked over and it was the completly wrong product, perhaps she let me finish she wouldve known that but she had already disappeared by the time i stopped looking. It was very unfortunate as normally the staff especially in shoe section is especially helpful and courteous, but the on-sight store manager that "helped" me today did not express that equal level of care or courtesy.

This store really disappointed me which is why I'm giving a 2 out of 5 starts because there is this one worker that didn't stop flirting with me. This is highly inappropriate because I'm a man and he is man. And I'm not into men. Im happily married at the age of 30 and I don't need any of that in my life. I don't remember any names but all I know is that he was helping me by the exercise equipment. Also, there is no fishing section.

Bojan was super nice. We needed some assistance and he was super helpful and even helped us with sizing, and getting our items ordered online.

Neatly ordered shop and staff was helpful and friendly on my visit. They did not have hiking pants for women though.

Bought a set of “new” golf clubs. Got home to find them all scratched up and had obviously been used. I got a refund, but only after wasting a couple hours. I see other reviews saying the same thing. Maybe stop selling the floor model clubs that everyone tries in the store as “new” when they’ve been used.It’s not a huge deal, just frustrating to spend full price on a used product. I suppose over time they’ll get scratched up, but it would have been nice to use a new club for a while. If I wanted used I could have bought used clubs for much cheaper
