“I usually find what I was looking for here. Whether it’s petroleum jelly, microwave cover, metallic scoop, crafting supplies etc. The stalls are organized. Staff are helpful. There is also an entry/exit to the back parking lot.”

“We was able to get what we needed but the wait time was crazy. The cashier ( name tag said GET) called 3 times for help and when the other cashier came she had an attitude. Before I left I let her know that she was doing an amazing job despite the lack of help.”

And the prices are actually very good, I bought earings for 2 dollars. They were beautiful, something that I would buy for 20 dollars another store, that arnet even real. “This place is the best store I ever Been to. They are so friendly they treat you like family. Every time I come to this store it makes my day. He has the best clothes and at the best prices. He sells Islamic decorations at the best prices. The Islamic decoration we bought where only 14.00 witch is very cheap for the quality. Usually at other stores it’s like 999% increase for the items he sells. This store is also the cheapest store that I ever been to.”
“I was impressed with this Dollar Tree because the store was very clean and orderly. Although there were some empty shelves, most shelves were stocked and items were neatly displayed. There were no boxes in the aisles like most Dollar Tree stores I have visited. Their staff were very polite and helpful including the cashier. There was a large parking lot with plenty of parking including parking spaces with people with Disabilities. I would highly recommending visiting this store.”
“As a Dollar Tree it's solid, shelves are stocked and it's kept really neat and clean. The reason I'm giving it five stars is because of the wonderful, wonderful lady at the register! I wish I had asked her name but I just want her to know that I think she made everybody's day a little bit brighter and happier with her positive and kind personality! “Review written 1/17/2026. There was only one register open with long lines. Also a lot of the prices on items in this store seemed higher than other dollar trees, even with the recent increases across all dollar trees.
But overall, great selection
Also I recommend bringing a bag otherwise you will have to pay the city of chicago bag fee and bag tax”
“I went to this store and was amazed at how clean, organized and well merchandised the store is. Yeah, if you know, you know, most Family Dollars are a hot mess BUT not this one. While in there shopping, I heard customers being checked out inform the cashier that they too were impressed. When I got to the register I said it too. It just so happen to be the store manger that was cashiering. I can tell it meant a lot to hear this from the customers. She told me she is the store manager and has been at that location for 3 years. She didn't want her location to be what we have come to expect of a Family Dollar. I mean, merchandising and organization was never on my expectations when I walked into them but it is what I found at this location. I hope she recognized. She seemed to be the only employee working. Well done. Keep up the good work and thank you for raising YOUR bar.

“I come to this Dollar Tree regularly, 4, 5 times a week. Starting to remodeling this faculty. Removing the self check out, & new flooring. The store always fully stocked, Ordering regularly to replenish the out of stock items. Employees & Management very courteous, even greeting guest when entering the store, walk distance from & to the Blue Line E station.”
“Compared to other local Dollar Trees, within the area, this one is the one to go to. They have a self check out area, so you won't have to wait for cashiers like the other locations.
This location is very well clean & organized & the shelves are stocked. A welcoming atmosphere!
Overall I am happy to co.e a further distance for a better Dollar tree.”
“They always close early. Today I went in at 9:35, grabbed everything on my list, and went to the register around 9:50. I couldn't find anyone working, so I intermittently called out Hello?? While I waited at the register for ten minutes. Finally, I heard the kid working and asked if I could pay, but he said no, he closed 5 minutes ago (so at 9:55). Yeah, it's just five minutes, but if there are people shopping, don't don't close the freaking store down with customers still inside.
Edit one year later: I haven't experienced them closing early for about six months (and I've been going a lot). Love all the people who reguarly work here.”

“Great customer service, awesome cashier, ok products. I went to get a few household essentials and they were sold out, due to the time of day I went and it being Easter weekend. I also had 2 items that I wanted to exchange from 2 other Dollar Tree stores due to them being duplicate items that I'd purchased before. They exchanged them no questions asked without even asking to see my receipts. Great customer service, I will be checking them out again!”
“On Friday there was a young man with shaggy hair and I believe glasses too? working there. I’ve never seen a dollar store employee show hospitality like that before. There was a lady who was picking stuff out and had her hands full and he rushed over to bring her a basket if wanted it, and the. He came over and asked if I wanted him to bag my groceries even tho it was self checkout. I also accidentally clicked the wrong button and he fixed it really quick. It was just so sweet and memorable because you don’t expect someone to care so much at a dollar tree haha.”

It made the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable, almost more like a boutique discount store than a typical dollar shop.
The checkout area was also clean and efficiently managed. Even when a small line formed, the staff moved things along quickly, all while keeping their stations organized and free of clutter. That level of attention to detail really added to the overall positive atmosphere of the store.
Overall, this Dollar Tree exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness, organization, and thoughtful layout made shopping simple, fast, and surprisingly pleasant. I’ll definitely be returning.”
“They have so much here from housewares to decorations to chips to to shampoo to drinks to ice cream. Nice staff and free parking that's diagonal right in front for 90 minutes. Also next to a little shopping mall w Mexican ice cream and Mexican restaurant.. and a few blocks from the Pink CTA line. Plus I love it that they had 2 for $1 Doritos!! It saved my belly from hunger today while doing errands. Thank you. But the lady staff assumed I was stealing it and walking out without paying bc I guess she wasn’t paying attention to her coworker or didn’t bother to ask him if I already paid. I had a receipt in hand so I had prooof but she could have asked her coworker first before accusing me of walking out without paying the $1.11 for the 2 Doritos :-) that were boldly held for all to see bc I paid for them.”
