“Just left about 30 minutes ago. 2 younger guys working up front. They greeted everyone who came in and said goodbye when they left. Both were talking to customers and seemed knowledgeable. It was a really nice experience as opposed to other paint stores/departments where they completely ignore you. I will be buying my paint from this location!”

I had an excellent experience renting a carpet cleaner from this location. The rental process for the Bissell machine was incredibly easy, and the Bissell cleaning solution worked wonders—it completely revived our carpets, turning them from a worn-out gray back to their original white!
A huge shoutout to Irene, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the machine. She took the time to explain how everything worked and clearly outlined the expectations for returning it clean, which I really appreciated.

“had a great experience today at the Sherwin-Williams in Plainfield. The young lady at the front desk was calm, patient, and really took the time to understand what I needed. She made sure my paint was mixed quickly and let me know it would be ready when I returned later due to other priorities I had.
When I came back, everything was ready to go. She checked me in, checked me out, and handled everything professionally. I wished them a Happy Holidays and left very impressed.

“I wanted to stain my deck a Cape Cod gray. Sherwin Williams grays just weren’t right. First they said they couldn’t really make the stain for me. I told them I thought they were good guys and could they please try. By golly, they made the perfect Cape Cod gray stain. My deck is awesome!! I knew they could do it!! Thank you! 🌷”

“Cons: I ordered a paint mix over the phone. The woman working at the time wouldn't give the paint because my phone number wasn't in the system. I asked if anyone else ordered that same paint mix today and she said no. So not sure what the issue was, extremely unnecessary.
On the other hand. Major pro: Nick. I called and asked for advice on how to get a paint thats only sold for new construction homes and also only sold by a mass gallon amount. He immediately knew the color, he also immediately knew the mix necessary to create a replica. When I finally did pass security clearance from the lady and got the paint, it was a perfect match. That type of customer service and skill is amazing! Thanks to Nick and will be visiting again for purchasing new paint for my new home as I think his advice will be invaluable!”
