My significant other and I are moving and the fact that I was able to call and set everything up without having to go in saved me a lot of time! The unit is an outside unit, 10x15, spacious and clean (a few spiders, but what do you expect from an outside unit). Open 24hrs for convenient access. They honored a veterans 10% discount as well which brought down my monthly payment to a fair amount ?

Renting space was easy and quick. Unfortunately, everything is done online. I called beforehand to see if there was someone on-site that could show us the space before renting but was I was told no one is available at the location. There is a site manager that seems to randomly show up to make sure things are kept in order but good luck catching them when they are. Fortunately, the space works for now and was clean and ready to go when we got there. Over all, everything seems to be good to go. ?

I got an outside storage on may 2nd. I saw how bad the unit looked so I called on may 3rd to cancel my unit being unsatisfactory and took out my one bag I had in there. As months go on I didnt realize they were still charging me because i thought it was the charges for the new storage unit i decided to go with. When I called to get a refund since i havnt had anything in there since may 3rd and was told to take the lock off and that they would take care of the rest. When I called i was informed that there was items left in the unit and a lock, which i didnt purchase bc i removed the one i had as they requested when i canceled my unit may 3rd. I ask to talk to a supervisor since I was told that they could check the camera and see who was using the storage unit. When the supervisior called me back he said he didnt have access to cameras but he could listen to the call on may 3rd to hear that I canceled it. I asked him to check the call after he suggested that he could check the recording and he refused. Then said he could only give me back my money for August. I informed him that since may when i canceled it looks like i got emails saying i didnt have a signed lease afterwards so they were charging me illegally on top of it. The supervisior didnt care and said he can take only august off of my charges. I was suprised that the supervisor wouldnt check the camera or the phone call recording. So at this point i am taking further action...NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!! THEY ARE NOT TRUE TO THEIR WORD!!!

Do not recommend this facility. I received a text today stating that the lock was missing on our storage unit and they put on a temporary lock. We rushed over to find that over half of the items in the unit had been stolen. I called the office number. They were of no help. He said to call and report to the North Aurora police and to contact my Homeowner's insurance. No apology. He said that other units had been broken into as well. Very minimal security there. There was a man who appeared to be living out of his unit there at one time. He would sleep in a van parked outside of his unit. He also had old appliances outside of his unit that sat there for days and he had an extension cord hooked into the facility's outlet. We reported this and they disabled the electrical outlet we noticed the next time we went there.Very poor management!

Unreasonable price increases.There are no employees there to upkeep the facilities. More than 3 times I’ve went to my unit and there have been nails and screws littered throughout the driveways between units. Additionally, there are individuals living in the unit next to mine and always have their cars parked in front where I can’t access my unit.Overall this place is fine for shorter timeframes but I would seriously consider other options if you plan to hold a unit longer than a 2 years.

I went to my storage unit to pick up some items and discovered my boxes had been rummaged through and stuff stolen. My unit was locked and I noticed alot of fingerprints on the sliding door. How sad, thinking my stuff is safe and then finding half of it gone. Find another place, don't recommend.

Beware!!! Gate locks and keeps you from your stuff. Often. For days on end. They reply with we can credit you $15. Granted loosing a day of work costs more like $400+. Also they lure you in with first second month deals then jack your rent up drastically. DO NOT STORE YOUR ITEMS HERE!!!!!!!!

Terrible. My unit flooded then froze solid with about an inch deep of water through out. Gutter systems broken off and almost impossible to get a vehicle in and out of, especially in the winter. When they plow they would plow the snow high in front of the doors where it would freeze and make access extremely difficult. Never again.

Easy setup , and its awesome that it has 24 hr access ! Beats all other storage places just by that option alone ! Everywhere else closes there place by 10pm .. i want access to my belongings at any hour . Thank you red dot!

5x15 unit has 3 1/2 foot entrance. And is not 15' long. More like 14 1/2. Inside Width is not as advertised either

The Halls of the storage building was full of someone’s garbage. I’m sure someone will clean it up sometime. Upon opening my unit it had a very strong smell of gas. I called Red Dot to report someone in the unit next to mine is storing fuel which they are not supposed too. I can smell it through the walls. They had no other units for me to rent so now my things will smell like gasoline. Waiting for a response ok taking care of next door unit.

Extremely poor security and I just had over 10k in fishing gear stolen from my unit, waited 20 mins on the phone no response. Do the cameras even work.
