I have been a client of Brian's for years It's nice to be insured by someone who actually cares about you, your future and your family I have been pretty lucky with my driving record but Brian's service really comes to light when the small stuff happens too. I was out of state with two little kids in the car and I broke down Brian stayed on the phone with me , called customer service, explained my situation and stayed on the phone with me until the tow truck showed up. He and Farmers took care of me and my kids and frankly, that's all that matters.

We have been with this office for all our insurance needs since we moved to the area for more than 3 years. Farmer's have good insurance products and very good communication. It was 5 star experience until recently. Two big reasons why I took our now +$7K annual insurance spend (with addition of a new vehicle after I left Farmer's) else where is that 1) first and foremost, for almost 10 months since around June 2018, I did not have the protection I was told I had. I spotted it myself from online account login. The office was not aware of it and admitted it was an error on my home owner's policy to have deductible at 5% for wind and hail instead of $2000 deductible for all perils as I was told what my coverage should be. 2) consistent ~20% increase on auto for every 6 months makes auto coverage highly incompetitive. I was able to save more than $600/year for auto alone with another more highly rated company with comparable coverages. I was told by Farmer's that 20% increase is below average increase, an increase rate for low risk clients. When I expressed my intent to switch agent, I was told 2019 auto premium is stable and I shouldn't see increase. Based on that, I questioned if the premium increase for Feb-July 2019 coverage can be adjusted but was told no. So I am not understanding why I should be taking on Feb-July 2019 auto premium increase even though I was given the promise that 2019 auto rate is stable with no premium hike. I cannot understand the logic behind how the rates work. After all, no one is perfect and everybody makes mistakes. It wouldn't be a bad ideal to keep an eye out for what coverage we are actually getting and check back periodically whether anything has changed. I think it's also good practice to quote out all coverages once a year just to make sure I am getting the most competitive products for my insurance needs. After February quotation exercise, I did NOT go with the lowest quote but with the quote that suits my needs best as a whole package. Next year, I would still quote Farmer's to see if things have changed.

Meticulous agent who works very hard to make sure his customers have the best coverage and a full understanding of what that means for their family or business. Highly recommended.
