Red Carpet Inn North Chicago, IL, offers an affordable and convenient stay with a mix of positive and constructive reviews. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, who are described as very kind and helpful, often going out of their way to assist, such as mailing forgotten items. The service is considered amazing, and the staff’s pleasant attitude enhances the experience. The rooms are generally comfortable and cozy, with beds receiving positive remarks for their comfort. Many guests value the affordability, noting that the prices are reasonable, especially for those attending nearby events like navy graduations. The location is praised for being close to the navy base, gas stations, and fast food options, making it a practical choice for travelers. However, the hotel is older and needs some updating. Common issues include small bathrooms, broken or outdated fixtures, and rooms that are somewhat outdated with analog TVs. Some rooms smell like smoke despite being designated non-smoking, and basic maintenance issues, such as dirty air filters, can cause discomfort. The rooms are cleaned regularly, and amenities like microwaves and refrigerators are available, though there’s no coffee pot or pool service. Overall, Red Carpet Inn offers a practical, budget-friendly stay with friendly staff and a good location, but guests should be prepared for some dated features and minor maintenance concerns.

A nice place for a budget not really worth over $65 for a night Other than that, it was nice comfortable and cozy Downside was the bathroom is really small and the toilet seat was broken. I didn’t know and I ended up pinching myself and getting a bruise on my inner thigh
