Absolutely unacceptable experience at this location.
After working over a 14-hour shift, I stopped in wearing my dirty work clothes, exhausted, and simply trying to buy something with my hard-earned money. Yes, the bills were a little crumpled from a long day, but I straightened them out before handing them over.
The employee at the counter visibly shook his head in disgust when I gave him the money. When I asked if there was an issue, he replied that he likes money, but “I just don’t like trash.” That is absolutely disgusting behavior toward a paying customer.
When I tried to calmly explain that I didn’t appreciate being treated that way, he continued cursing and swearing at me. No customer deserves this kind of abuse — especially from someone representing a major brand.
What makes this worse is that I wasn’t just there to hand over a couple of bills. I filled up over $60 worth of gas on my corporate credit card, in addition to buying a bottle of water and an overpriced protein bar that was nearly $7. I gave this business plenty of money that day, and in return I was treated with total disrespect.
On top of that, even the basics weren’t right. The drink cooler wasn’t working properly — the water I bought wasn’t even cold. For a gas station that charges nearly $7 for a water & a protein bar, the least they could do is have working coolers.
CITGO should be ashamed to have employees like this wearing their name. If this is how they allow their franchise to be represented, it reflects horribly on the entire company.
This is completely ridiculous. Do better. Work on customer service skills and basic respect toward the hardworking people who keep your business running.

The guy working today Saturday 13th , 3 pm , is very rude.. may not like Hispanics or something.. ended up getting my money back because of his rudeness..never going back again

Staff is very rude in particular a guy. Yelled at me because his machine was not working properly and I tried to adjust my card. Made very rude comments.

It is illegal to have non-working restrooms especially when there is food handling and slots involed. Avoid this place at all costs.

Extremely RUDE! Overpriced! Disrespectful! I was cursed at and refused a refund. LITERALLY how can customer service be this bad??? He also took a picture of me when I left ? Creepy! Weirdos in this CITGO I don’t recommend.
