“Joe, the owner of LC&S is a very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with. Have made several small but important coin purchases there over the past 6 or 7 years. Recently Joe helped me with the sale of some Sterling Silver Flatware. He explained the process involved in determining the flatware's value and suggested that I visit several shops to get quotes and then to take the best one. When all was said and done Joe was able to make a more than fair offer and I sold to him. I always have trusted him and feel comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. “For those of you that complain about their policy regarding them not immediately being able to price an item. This is typical. This is a thrift store. Service isn't going to be amazing. Their policy is the same everywhere "if there is no tag then it needs to be properly priced and you can return the next day in the morning to ask for the item and get it then. I did this before and they were accommodating at another location. Although it is inconvenient to have to come back simply for this reason. It's understandable since they need to determine the price a certain way to get some kind of profit and so forth. I don't believe every employee is trained to be able to determine the price of all or any items. These locations are always short staffed so keep that in mind as well. If you want something better in that sense go to a Bloomingdales or a Nordstrom. Not that you can afford it in this economy ?as they say be grateful for what you have”
