“A rare North Shore gem combining outstanding cuisine with art from local artists. As it's name implies, the Gallery is an art gallery, but with a kitchen and an extremely talented chef. The menu and art are both updated every 3 months. We have been to the Gallery for the past 5 menus and every visit has been excellent. The menu is very limited but offers enough options for most people (so far, there has always been a salmon, another seafood entree, a beef entree, and a poultry entree). While limited in choice, the execution of every dish is at the very top of the fine dining scene and could compete with most of the top rated restaurants in Chicago - in our experience the Gallery should be a Bib Gourmand contender. While the entree is the star here, two non-entree items deserve special mention. First, the deviled eggs with balsamic and bacon are so good we have felt many times we could just eat a few orders of deviled eggs and be happy, and are in the "must have" category (thankfully, these are on every menu so far). Second, the pastry deserts are executed at a level that I would not expect except at a Michelin starred restaurant. The deserts have been mostly different each visit, but they have always blown us away. Don't skip desert! Note that the Gallery has a very limited wine and spirits menu, but they encourage you to bring your own wines with a very minimal corkage fee.”
“EXTREMELY talented group of artists. Have had 2 private commissions with Mr. Christensen and he went above and beyond. He listened to the smallest of details and absolutely knocked each item out of the park. To say I'm thrilled does not do justice to just how great these pieces are. High quality, fairly priced, and coming from a great group of people. Would absolutely recommend Gallery Five. Thanks again!”

“I have been shopping here since the late '80s. Some of my favourite earrings were purchased here. This is also a great source for hostess and wedding gifts. They specialize in artisan pieces for your personal use or for gifts -- glass, wood, pottery, etc. Today I picked up a gorgeous bar of Finchberry soap. Yes, I know I can buy this product online, but Citywoods has a huge selection and the Finchberry colours/designs/fragrances have to be experienced in person. I ended up purchasing shades-of-purple "Grapes of Bath," (he, he) but I think I'll be back for Moxie and Main Squeeze. plenty of street parking; helpful staff; lovely items”

“Outstanding store. I've always been in the search for a quality framing place. I've found it here! I went in with my piece, and had a wonderful 1 on 1 "consultation" regarding the different options. Which framing, glass, etc. The man who helped me was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to replicate a frame I liked from a museum. The framing took around 2/3 weeks, but it turned out amazing. If that deters you, go to Bed Bath and Beyond and get a frame. At Frameworks it's custom made to your liking. Very pleased.”
“This was my second occasion using Princeton Frame for less than conventional projects. The first was to construct a "frame" for a hand-made stained glass entry hall hall light, the second for a rear-illuminated stained glass art piece. The staff spent time exploring my framing options, but also offered suggestions for backlighting the piece which they didn't do. The framing was completed before the scheduled day as well.”

We began our tough decision of which piece to buy 1st and with the help of the staff we now have a disney filled living room, Mark actually took the time and went above and beyond to help us select pieces so our living room would look perfect and not tacky or overdone.The pricing is as it should be since all pieces are licensed disney and they are pretty much the same as competitors online pricing except the Disney Gallery never jacks up their prices.Thanks to the staff for always being extra nice and helpful! “I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl and George in the Northbrook store and the corporate office of The Great Frame Up. I recently ordered a beautiful and unique frame there for a very large painting that was just so perfect for it. However, it then turned out the manufacturer of that frame had recently closed, and the frame was no longer available. The Great Frame Up corporate office, along with George and Cheryl, went to great lengths to reach out to all The Great Frame Ups nationally, make many calls, and track it down for me in Seattle and have it shipped to their store. They were caring, responsive, and just really kind about everything. The frame is on the way and then they will be able to custom frame the painting, have it delivered, and installed in my home. Thanks to their efforts I will be able to have exactly what I was hoping for!”
