“My dad has a local account here and the tellers are very nice. I hate to say it, but I am very lazy and use the drive-thru window instead of walking into the bank. I especially like the holiday decorated deposit slips that they use...a little cheer for the sometimes drab winter weather. A word to the wise, don't even attempt to make a left turn headed westbound on Shermer or you're asking for an accident.”
“This is a small community bank, the northbrook location seems more tailored for the private banking arm, but they do take all customers. This bank may not be as technologically advanced as big guys, but it's a real community bank, with actual people working there, I know my banker, and get services not possible at big banks, although at times they may be a little slower. Seems like they are most focused on retail and commercial banking services, not sure they are desperate to make loans like some places, so I would elsewhere for anything than home equity lines. Overall nice to have a small old fashioned bank, in a day where it seems like most other branches dont even have personal bankers, even if their app are behind the curve of the bigger banks.”

“We used Centrust for a SBA 7A loan in early 2020 and the process was fantastic. The best reasons are the following - very fast communication either by email or phone often in just minutes. Even with Tom Meyer, EVP and Director of SBA Lending, who is excellent. Second, handling the small but important details well. Such as collecting vehicle titles when the loan was paid off. Bottom line, Centrust does a lot of thing very well and we would recommend them to any of our friends, and especially business owners.”

“AMAZING service!!! 10 stars! Went to the BofA branch I normally use and was turned away to open 4 checking accounts and 2 bank accounts. I was told to call Joanna and they let me take a picture of the business card. I called and talked to the branch manager Steve Kroeze who told me to come in. An hour later I'm leaving with 6 new accounts with BofA and a new company credit card due to Joanna. When you are tight on time and you need to get 10 things done like every business owner this team is it! Thank you for taking care of me and my time.”

“I wish to preface this review by saying I am not happy with the company JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. at all. I've tried to escape them many times; but they keep merging with the banks I switch to (Purdue National, Plainfield Bank, Chemical Bank, Marine Bank, First Chicago, WaMu, BankOne, etc.), and I wind up their customer again. That said, I generally don't hold that against the individual branches. This branch location functions well enough, in spite of being a Chase Bank.
The employees I've encountered have all been friendly, seem competent enough (though I've only ever conducted personal banking here), and the building & equipment are always in good order. Their drive-thru and walk-up ATMs have always functioned well. Their walk-up ATM dispenses $5s and $20s, which is nice (I often need small bills to tip contractors and restaurants). I think it also dispenses $10s, but I haven't tried it yet. They have lots of parking, the lot is well lit, and - because they're on a major intersection - it seems to get patrolled well at night.”

“While this bank can be chaotic and unorganized at times, I appreciate that it has stayed open and accessible throughout these tough times as many other banks have been hard to work with during the pandemic due to limited hours and appointments available. Everyone was friendly and helpful at this location and acted like they really cared to get things done right. What really sets this branch apart is that to compensate for the long waits and the delays they took the time to waive cashier check fees multiple times. Not every bank is willing to do that for you so I definitely feel that this is a good branch if you are willing to be patient and work with them.”
