Border Tails Rescue is a licensed no-kill animal rescue and welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of stray dogs. It has a deeply caring and terrific staff that is very passionate and involved in the work. The organization is well loved by the community and is considered one of the best animal rescues in Illinois. It goes above and beyond for animals, rescuing dogs from neglect, abuse, and hoarding cases both locally and internationally. The staff is super communicative with foster families and really tries to match up the right dog with the right person. The fostering process is easy and rewarding. Border Tails Rescue has a physical shelter facility with dogs on site for viewing every day. The organization is currently looking for loving foster families and forever homes, encouraging people to adopt and not shop. Supporting this group means saving a life.
