“This place is the best store I ever Been to. They are so friendly they treat you like family. Every time I come to this store it makes my day. He has the best clothes and at the best prices. He sells Islamic decorations at the best prices. The Islamic decoration we bought where only 14.00 witch is very cheap for the quality. Usually at other stores it’s like 999% increase for the items he sells. This store is also the cheapest store that I ever been to.”
“I don't go very often. This time, I loved the wow factor. Found something new I really wanted in the cleaning section. The store was full of merchandise, clean, and easy to shop. Seemed less busy, no lines.”
“Review written 1/17/2026. There was only one register open with long lines. Also a lot of the prices on items in this store seemed higher than other dollar trees, even with the recent increases across all dollar trees.
But overall, great selection
Also I recommend bringing a bag otherwise you will have to pay the city of chicago bag fee and bag tax”
“Compared to other local Dollar Trees, within the area, this one is the one to go to. They have a self check out area, so you won't have to wait for cashiers like the other locations.
This location is very well clean & organized & the shelves are stocked. A welcoming atmosphere!
Overall I am happy to co.e a further distance for a better Dollar tree.”

“This is the BEST Dollar Tree not based on the selection of products even though they have a decent assortment but the staff here is OUT OF THIS WORLD AWESOME! I would like to personally call out Vik, who is so kind and always go above and beyond, Habib who is has excellent customer service skills and is pure comedy he has a great sense of humor and the very sweet Hispanic woman who goes out of her way every time you walk into this location. This is the BEST crew this location has had hope Dollar Tree keeps them!”
“I went in to make an exchange and the cashier had to call the manager over for assistance. Manager said they don't usually take return items if it's a manifacturer issue, but he did the return for me and said they'd "assume the cost of it to keep a happy customer." I appreciated that he did the return/exchange anyway and was pretty professional about it. Now days that type of service can be hard to come by, so I left feeling good about this place and their commitment to customer service ?”
“Cindy went above and beyond to help me with some balloons for my son's birthday. Honestly, I haven't received such great treatment from a store/service such as hers, and it was a pleasant surprise. She should be working at like a 5 star resort or something. She would be such an asset to any customer service team.”
“These folks got to be some of the most generous employees they are highly skilled people in personality. Every time you come here the line is to the refrigerators in the back, it’s like they have a fan base how good they take care of the store and its customers. “The owner is the best! I forgot to collect my cash back from one of the cashiers. He chased me out in the parking lot to give me the money and receipt. He was so positive and thanked me over and over for shopping at his store.
I greatly appreciate hard working people who appreciate their customers. It may just be the dollar store but the owner will make you feel like family. Thank you!”
“This was a fairly well stocked Dollar Tree compared to some others. I was greeted at the entrance. The line was halfway to the back of the store, 9 or 10 people in front of me, and just one register open. That was frustrating but the clerk was friendly while being a quick as he could.”
“The store is always a mess. I’ve often been there when there’s only one cashier and about 30 customers trying to check out, this has happened more than once. I only buy frozen food processed candy and cranberry juice from this place. Oh yeah and the small Dawn dishwashing liquid (convenient enough to keep everywhere). I suggest you bring your own bag(s) from home bc the hand held shopping baskets they provide are so nasty filthy and cruddy (the basket's actual original color was green but the insides are now black, i’m positive they have never been cleaned or wiped off EVER. Plus they charge for bags.”
“I purchase most of my Ornaments at this store. I purchased the Tree at the other Vernon Hills dollar tree. I also purchased the florals from the Deerfield store. Turned out great on a budget.”
“This location is okay, they do not have a lot to choose from. I think it's just based on the demographics in the neighborhood. Lot of boring stuff. Otherwise the store seems to be clean and organized. They don't have a lot of enthusiastic employees, but I think that's in a lot of customer service industries otherwise it's okay”
“BARLEY can call this. Dollar Store anymore. There are so many $5 things! It does get points for having kept food and most necessities $1.25, it's always good for things you don't need a while lot of. Store is clean and always is pleasant when I go in.”

“It's a Dollar Tree so not sure what people are expecting. The prices have been over a dollar for a long time so it should come as no surprise.
We always come early or late and it's not busy at all and our experience is the ladies are very nice.
We come for toothbrushes and stuff like that which is worth it and maybe a small bag of candy. Keep your expectations in check and it's not so bad people.”
