I have been disappointed with the results of your investment returns since starting with Iron Financial.

Timothy Ziemba has been very responsive to any questions or concerns that I have had. He assisted me with setting up new investments last year that helped me to reduce loses and make money in some cases when it was difficult to make money anywhere.Initially in 2019, I was invested in high grade corporate bonds that did quite well until rates dropped to 0% or less, at which point you discontinued this investment program. I think it would be good to bring this program back at this time now that rates are much higher and money can be made. Thanks.

Been using Iron Financial since 1995. The whole staff is fantastic. I'd highly recommend Iron to anyone especially Howard, Aaron, Timothy, and Liliana.

Same experience as previous reviewer. Hidden fees, arduous process to close the account, rude (if any) customer service. Spoke with one specialist named Norvell exceptionally aggressive and constantly saying he has 10 years of experience yet he gave inconsistent/incorrect information repeatedly. I will not participate in another plan managed by this company.

Do not use this company to manage your company's retirement accounts. Not only do they take a percentage of everyones account balance, they charge monthly fees, have hidden fees, and make it a long costly process when you want to move your account from Iron Financial's control. I paid a fee to close and remove my account. They did not close my account and made me repeat the whole process (notarized documentation, etc.) and charged me the same fee again. It may all sound good in the beginning but the end will make you wish you never trusted these people in the first place.

My company has had Iron Financial as our 401K administrator for several years and have had a good relationship with them. Their fees have been reasonable for a company our size and they are generally responsive to customer service queries. They have also been on time with required government filing tasks. (The previous reviewer compared service to Fidelity and Prudential, but this is comparing apples to oranges. Iron is not a fund family, they are a manager and fiduciary.)

I had a small outstanding balance in my Iron Financial 401k account from a previous employer and requested a check for the balance. They stated they mailed a check to me - twice. Both times it never arrived in the mail. It took an intervention by the 401k administrator of my previous employer to sort it out and demand they overnight a check to me. To add insult to injury, they also charged a $120.00 "Distribution Fee" which worked out to be approximately 27% of the balance of my account. I have been dealing with companies like Fidelity and Prudential for years and they have never charged any sort of "distribution fee" for withdrawals or rolling over retirement funds to another plan. Iron Financial is by far the worst 401k management company I have personally ever dealt with.
