Got to love asterisks. Free Shipping and Free returns!********************. First of all, OBVIOUSLY that is not true. I ordered an upper handguard but it was the wrong size. cost me $18 to return their product. their response: Absolutely nothing. Lets be honest, there are better places to buy these products and not give your hard earned money to people in Chicago who hate you. Simple. Be Safe Out There.

Do not order products from this site. I am pretty sure they do not even have phyical products ever as I have ordered two things since last November and neither have shown up yet. I email them all the time asking for updates and they just give me future estimated delivery dates. Very frustrating and makes sense why they get a 1.9 out of 5. I should have done my dillegence

I called before placing an order, and found out that their customer support are actually gear experts. Got a lot of great tips and overall great experience. Will buy from them again!

Two day free shippimg is great when they get around to it. The responses from the owner are lame. Optics Planet has proven they have problems getting the product OUT THE DOOR. Fill the order & put it in the spot UPS takes it from. I ran a werehouse, it ain't rocket science.

Nothing wrong with the products that they sell, HOWEVER, their sense of urgency is absolutely ZERO. Ordered with 2 day shipping and wasn't even processed until 3 days later and THEN another few days until it was delivered. That is not customer service. Never Again Optics Planet, Never Again.

Never had an issue with opticsplanet. Blazindeals all the time, reasonable shipping, good products.Had to return an item once that wasn't compatible and they made it super easy.Some places would not be so generous, so I appreciate the integrity of this online retailer and I would recommend checking them out.

Submitted several questions about their products with no response. Ordered an item, came without parts clearly specified on the product page as being included. Called Customer Service, the woman was very nice but due to company policy could not just ship the missing part and make the order right. My first and last order from Optics Planet.

Free returns is a lie, read the fine print!! I was shipped an incomplete lower parts kit, it is missing several parts. Customer service said too bad, contact the manufacturer. When I refused and instead decided to just return it for a refund, they advised me I would be charged $7.99 shipping to return a defective $38 item! I'm now filing a BBB complaint and starting a case with the attorney general. I will reverse the charge on my Amex if that doesn't work. I suggest other customers receiving the same kind of service do the same.

I bought a trigger from them, and they shipped two triggers to me. I did the right thing and told them that, but made it clear I need them to get UPS to come pick it up instead of me driving over to UPS to ship it, since it isn't really my mistake and I don't want to spend any effort on the return. They didn't respond back, then changed my invoice and added the trigger I didn't order, and raised the price on it, so now I have a overdue bill.

I found Optics Planet through a highly skilled firearm's expert, although this is a distributor and not a manufacturer they completely understand quality optics and a host of other products and their customer service is exceptional starting with the accurate description of their products and the way communicate throughout the entire process including after the sale. I was looking for a quality "green dot" sight I know most want the "red dot" sights and although the later seems to be the most popular I easily justified my preference based on my application. I chose the Holosun Elite Micro 1x20mm, 2MOA Dot / 65 MOA Circle Green Dot Sight although there are many options on the market the frequency of and price was definitely a part of my decision tree. This giant retailer has a lot of inventory which mean fast shipping and it's free as are returns if you miss. I am extremely happy with my purchase and have my eye on a number of other products after exploring their online store. Just in case you're wondering why I chose green vs red: Due to the wavelength of the color green, green dot sights can get far brighter with less effort than their red counterparts. As humans, our eyes will also notice green easier than red, making it seem even more luminous than it is. The light waves from a green dot sight will not flood your eye's cones like those from a red dot, and as such will distort significantly less than a red dot sight. If you worry about the strain on your eyes, a green dot sight might be the right option for your gun too. Green Dot Sight are a little more expensive but for the price I felt was justified, I'll actually get more visibility than if I spent the same price or more for a red dot sight, so in my opinion the value-added benefits made this an easy choice...
