They charge 10 cent for a Sephora paper bag, this is the only store I know does that. They also don’t wrap up the items you bought. Also they don’t give out sample or offer reward point redeem activity, I have to ask more than once so they would do their job. Worst Sephora customer service store ever.

All team members here are top notch people. I never had a bad experience here in the past 15 years and I love stopping by here whenever there is new items in the mens fragrances

I got my make up done here with Janelle, she was so sweet and did a beautiful job with my make up. She took her time, and made sure I liked everything every step of the way. I picked out lashes and when she put one on it was a little more dramatic than I was going for, so she took it off and at the end when I went to go pay I was going to pay for the lashes we opened and cut and they ended up just “damaging” the eye lashes out for me. That was really thoughtful, I didn’t expect them to do that, especially cause we opened them and cut them so I knew I had to purchase them regardless. I will be back if I’m ever in the area again. Very nice employees and I really liked Janelle, she was so sweet and professional. I’ve gotten my make up done before at another Sephora in a different state, they were a little crazy with time making sure each second that passes and getting you to pay more for time if make up goes past time, plus they were trying to sell me on each of the products we used, I understand they have to make sales, it was kind of frustrating especially cause I was in a hurry to go to a wedding. Janelle didn’t do this which was really nice she wasn’t in a hurry to watch the seconds of the time which was so nice. She didn’t try to sell me on a million products i really didn’t need. It was nice so i could leave quickly check out and go to the wedding.

A Sephora salesperson walks up to my 12-year-old daughter, tells her that her eyebrows are UGLY and that she has just the thing for it. How dare her? So, if you want your daughters to feel ugly, take them to Sephora Northbrook Illinois. The customer service staff will help you out.

I used to purchase my cosmetics and skincare products from Marshall Field's and Lord & Taylor's in Northbrook Court. However, after these 2 stores closed, I have been ordering online from Macy's or directly from the manufacturers. Ten days ago, a family member of mine needed a new mascara as her professional photo shoot had been moved up to the next day due to weather condition, so I volunteered to go to Sephora in Northbrook Court to buy one for her, as there's no time to order one online. I had been to Sephora only a few times. I never browsed in there as it is small and pretty cramped. Every time, I would finish my mission by just getting my targeted items, going in and out of there pretty quickly. This time should have been no difference. When I went in there, three of their associates were chatting among themselves, so I showed the screenshot of a Lancome mascara on their Sephora website to the cashier who was free, and asked her to help me locate the product. She was nice and led me to the front of the store, and handed me a Lancome mascara in a black box. I told her that it should be in a silver box. So, she looked again and gave me one in a silver box politely and then walked away. I double-checked the info on the box, and found that it was missing the most important word "Waterproof". I was not familiar with the placement of the product and could not find it. This time I asked a girl named Kelly, and finally she gave me the right one. The good thing was that they carry a lot of products, and they had this mascara that I was looking for. Their staff was friendly and would help if you ask. However, I would keep my habit of double-checking to make sure that they give me the right products before I leave!

A Drunk Elephant skincare product made my daughter's skin have an allergic reaction. I contacted Drunk Elephant, and they said Sephora could give me a refund since I bought it through them. When I went to Sephora, they were extremely unhelpful, rude, and unable to refund the whole amount of money that I paid. I won't come to this location again and I reccomend you don't either.

Sephora made it political and wants to buy people to stay quiet. They already have an agenda. ?

came in wanting to do an exchange, and instead of just returning the previous item and taking the difference from the new item, she returned it separately, so i had to pay for the item i wanted and waited 5 days for the item returned to show back up on my account. She wanted to give me the 5% off which really wasn’t needed, but it was the thought that counted.

The store in Kohl's in Arlington Heights is ill managed. I have been there twice since they opened and checkout is a nightmare! They could not find my sephora account for points and wanted me to put in my credit card number on the checkout keypad because it wasn't working. I refused and they got it to work. Stay away!!! It was bad both times I visited.

This place is magical. Every time I shop here, I'm greeted by a friendly and helpful associate who can point me to exactly what I need. Or if I just want to explore, I can do that, too. They have EVERYTHING makeup, along with skin care, some fragrance, and some hair care. I love the customer service here they take the time to ask you what you looking for or wanting and they really listen and explain how to use the product to get best results. The people that work there are extremely helpful. They give recommendations for products based on your needs. Positive experience. Many make up consultants on hand.

This Sephora is probably one of the worst locations I’ve ever come too. Manager and sales associates look miserable and give you sketchy vibes just because you want to return something that’s outside their 60 day policy. The manager who is quite rather large and in charge needs to get a life outside of working for Sephora.

I just had the most darling cutest girl Mary take care of me. She was so patient and it made my shopping experience so easy and pleasant. She was easy to talk to and listened to everything I needed. I was looking for a new foundation brush and new foundation and she helped get me some testers to try them out at home. Thank you
