“I had been recommended this store by 2 different friends when I mentioned having questions about certain stroller brands. There unfortunately isn’t a store super like this close to us (we went to Nordstrom & the worker there wasn’t super helpful). My mom, sister, husband & I drove almost an hour to get to here & it was so worth it! Chris was so helpful & helped alleviate some stress I’m experiencing as a soon to be first time mother. “Zombie Unicorn Comics is that me of the best comic shops in Chicago. They have a great selection of comics and comic adjacent collectibles and offer pressing and cleaning services. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable! This place is everything you need in a Local Comicbook Store!”
“This place is amazing! I binge watched all 4 toy story movies with my 2yr old daughter in 2 days and the first thing we see is Buzz Lightyear as soon as we walked in. Instant purchase among other great items they have as well as pre-orders. Coolest owner as well, always a pleasure doing business.”
“I ordered a hard-to-find toy from them online almost a month before a beach vacation. It got hung up with UPS and I didn't notice it until more than a week after placing the order. I was told by a store employee that they checked with UPS and were told to just let it ride. The toy store manager, Angela, decided to ship a second item by hand delivering to the UPS store herself, in an effort to get me the item before I left for vacation. Unfortunately, the item didn't arrive in time. However, upon returning from vacation, I found that the package was delivered with a very apologetic note and a couple of extra goodies for the inconvenience. The second item arrived and we were told we could also keep that one too. Ultimately, I was disappointed that my kids couldn't enjoy the toy while on vacation. However, it was nice to see that they were considerate about the situation and did their very best to make things right. You don't see that every day and I commend them for that. If only the larger companies could take note of this level of customer service!”

“I went to Aw Yeah Comics for the first time ever, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything is well organized, clean and the overall atmosphere of the store is nice! “Absolutely recommend 100%. I was tasked by my grandma to have a doll restrung. I was about to ship it to another company for much much more $$$. I didn’t know so I assumed that’s what it costs. I confirmed the address to ship it to and that company never responded. I reached out to GIGI’s. Emailed me back quickly. Very reasonable price. Told me how to ship it. Was returned fixed to me within about a week. Was very happy with it. The doll owner is very happy as well?.”

“This is the second time I’ve ordered from this store & both experiences exceeded expectations! The first time, I was looking for a specific product. It was shown on their website, but currently out of stock (in the middle of the supply chain issues). I called to check when/if it would be back in stock and their communication was stellar! They let me know that it had been ordered and kept me apprised of subsequent delays.The second time I ordered (today), I was given the option of free local delivery as one of the shipping methods. We bought so many great thing's that you can't really appreciate unless you see them in person. “My family and I went to buy some loose Pokemon cards that my sons were interested in. The cards that they wanted were very random and consisted of Pokemon using all different energies as well as Trainers. The owner Jester was there and he was extremely helpful, helping us find over 30 of the cards that they were looking through by going through binders and loose cards in a box, which was extremely tedious. We've been to many Gamers Worlds where the employees running the store seem like they couldn't care less about their customers. We were fortunate to have the exact opposite experience here and want to thank Jester so much for his kindness and patience!”

Came right before opening to purchase riftbound boxes and was able to get them for extremely reasonable prices. they had some supply issues but still allowed me and my friend to make the purchase. Brian even talked about other releases and their events being hosted every week.
