Definitely avoid! I only came here once, 2 years ago, and they gave me a lengthy list of stuff to be done on the car. I only needed oil change and tire rotation but they didn’t rotate the tires claiming the studs and lug nuts all need to be changed! I just drove away and went to another service center and they got my tires rotated and were honest about one single lug nut, only one lug nut needed to be changed and Toyota on Edens wanted to charge me for all lug nuts and all studs ?????? good job Toyota on Edens. Two years later, I still don’t need to change the wheel studs!

Worst automobile experience I ever had. I went in for an oil change using a $69 coupon. Final bill was $130, having added things I didn't want or ask for. When questioned, the dealer Tom Morris started cursing and ranting. I became afraid of him. I asked for someone else and he handed over the wrong papers to the new guy, causing him to charge me for someone else's work. They had an underage girl working there, directing autos, who didn't know what she was doing. My advice. STEER CLEAR.

Shopping for a car and drove out to Toyota on Edens. Mark Rahn was the sales rep. We test drove a nice car and left to consider the deal. Decided on a different vehicle and sent a message the next day to Mark. His response - "Unbelievable". I asked what's unbelievable to which I got no answer. What happened to Treating customers with respect?Awful.

Julianna and Zai were fantastic and I'm so grateful for how they took care of my family. Really, all the staff we interreacted with were fantastic. The sales manager was also kind and helpful! We've stuck with Toyota on Edens for a reason. We'll be back again for sure! And we'll be directing any friends and family we can their way.

I am a fan of transparency. I should've trusted my gut. I Found a car I wanted to buy. Red Flag one, I tried to finalize everything before we got there. They said no, you have to come in. Drove out there, was told let me get you the final numbers. Red Flag #2, I knew something was coming because I knew the numbers backwards and forward. The sales person (Maria) tried to tack on a $2400 upholstery protection program. I asked to remove, she said it is required, I asked to see in writing where it was required. She said it is not in writing. Then the GM got involved, said all the dealers are charging over MSRP (mind you, not all, definitely some out there) and this was his way of giving something of value. Sorry, I don't see the value. He finally offered to remove it, but had to keep the VIN etching charge of $299 as he claimed it was already completed, which is a lie as well, since the car was not even in transit to the dealer. VIN etching can be done for under $20. We walked. Definitely got shady car sales vibes.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Toyota on Edens.I purchased a vehicle (Toyota Corolla 2019) from this dealership on August 7, 2023. From the beginning, the entire process felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I was taken advantage of by sales associates, manipulated and coerced into a deal that I now deeply regret. They lie about the vehicle's current condition, the condition and mileage did not justify the price I paid, since it was bad. Front car bumber paint is different color than the body paint. Clearly I had been sold a car that was not up to the standards one would expect for the price point. They added accessories charge for ceramic coating on top of the listed price and you cannot take that out. They say it's already installed, but at the end they have a paper which you have to sign for this warranty, so it was optional. The financing manger was very mean, when I that he included service coverage even I said no, I said I don't want that coverage, he responded with attitude that I have to and this is how it works everywhere. This lack of transparency and professionalism was a clear red flag. One of the most worst aspects of this experience was the feeling of being taken advantage of by certain associates at the dealership. It's clear that their focus was solely on making a sale, and they demonstrated a complete disregard for my concerns and well-being as a customer. The dealership's primary goal was to secure a sale at any cost, without regard for the quality of the product they were offering. As a resident of Illinois, I am aware of my legal rights to return a purchased vehicle within 36 hours of the purchase. In addition, in the sale contract they didn't put anything about return which clearly says you "cannot" or "can" return, which is made intentionally to fool people. Many dealerships, who care about their reputation and the customers allow you to return the vehicle in 30 days. Clearly they don't care about their customers. When I attempted to initiate this process, the next day, after less than 24 hours, the dealership's response was inadequate, which only deepened my frustration. I sent written notice formally request the return of the vehicle, their response and handling of the matter were far from professional, and I was left with no choice but to take further action to protect my rights as a consumer.I strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Toyota on Edens to thoroughly research and be cautious before making any commitments.

BUYER BEWARE. Toyota on Edens, and James Cooper in particular, misrepresented the condition of a used car we purchased, which has ABS error codes, including U0126-00 and U3000-49 ECU Internal Circuit Failure. They did not allow a 3rd party pre-purchase inspection. They were grossly negligent in their in-house 130-point inspection, and by their own admission, did not perform even basic steps like checking the car for error codes, which would have found these issues. When we brought inspection results from a reputable 3rd party mechanic, they replied "Any mechanic can write anything" and said, "Do you trust your mechanic more than our mechanic?" After Toyota on Edens' mechanic took a second look at the car, they admitted that the codes did in fact exist and that they did not perform the basic step of checking for codes (so yes, my mechanic is more trustworthy than their mechanic). In particular, James Cooper destroys confidence in his dealership's brand, exhibited extremely unscrupulous behavior, and has no business managing a car dealership. When I asked James, "Do you sell cars with these issues?", James replied "Yes we do", before walking away and later calling me a "smartass brother" for stating the facts. Why would anyone buy a car from Toyota on Edens if their sales manager proudly admits to selling cars with issues that they do not give customers a chance to identify in advance via pre-purchase inspection? Why does this dealer's owner allow James Cooper to create a BUYER BEWARE EXPERIENCE?Ultimately, issues were found in the rack and pinion mechanism causing the error codes, but James Cooper refused any fix, so we are now stuck with a car with error codes. When selling the car, they also use dishonest practices like saying $300 VIN etching is required by dealership policy when it is clearly an optional $20 job. Dishonesty, negligence, misrepresentation, refusal to fix. BEWARE!

Zero stars would be more accurate. I went in for a simple repair that required a Toyota part, and won't return ever to this dealer. The driver's side middle drip molding detached on our 2016 Rav4. I stopped by for estimate, and was told the part cost $100.19, which would take around 1 hour, an additional $90-100 for labor, and would include a 10% discount. Had the repair done the next day, but suddenly the bill totaled over $290. No warning about the increase, no discount, and when I questioned the price, I got only a vague defensive answer. I emailed my complaint the next day to the service manager, and he responded that it was my fault for paying for the overpriced repair! I called Toyota corporate, which told me each dealership was independently owned, nothing they could do but write up a complaint. When I (belatedly) read the Yelp reviews for Toyota on Eden's service, this is a common story. The manager offered me a useless $28 in-store credit, which I refused; we won't be returning for any reason. I wrote to the dealership management, no response. They seem all too comfortable treating their customer's dishonestly and disrespectfully.

Brought the car in for brake work (ABS light and E Brake light came on). $1500 later, the car was flat out unsafe to drive as you couldn't slow the car down unless you pushed the brake pedal all the way to the floor and really put all your weight behind it.Also, the ABS Light and E Brake light were still on.Technicians claimed it was safe and the brakes were fixed - so clearly not competent or safe.Service Center Manager sided with technicians and blamed "rain" for why the technician didn't realize brakes were not safe/fixed.

Bought a new 23 Tacoma sport off the lot. Fair price, and the sales staff Terry K and Mark R were awesome. Very low key and relaxed buying experience..Looking forward to the new dealership building next door!

Can't complain about the service, they showed me some problems and gave me prices if I wanted it fixed then. This was a lot easier than a local mechanic that simply starts adding extra stuff on to make money.
