I had such a great experience with one of the beauty advisors, Sedra. She was incredibly sweet and patient while helping me pick out my products, and she gave me honest recommendations that really helped. I also opened a card with her and saved 20%, and she explained everything clearly without being pushy at all. She looked very professional and genuinely cared about helping me. I left super happy with my purchase and with how helpful she was. I’ll definitely look for her again on my next visit!

I will never shop at this location again. Horrible customer service. The upfront associates are so lazy that it is ridiculous. I was in the store at about 10:30 am., so very few customers.
I usually shop at Niles or Old Orchard, and have always been very pleased.
Got to the front to checkout about $400 in makeup. I had various brands and asked if she could check the list to find out if there was a Gift with Purchase for two of the brands. The other stores have a list behind the register area.
She made up a bunch of excuses so as to not turn around and check...all just irrelevant and came down to lazy. She even tried to handball it to another associate who also did nothing to check.
Why should I have to ask her at keast 6x to check the list. She was not deaf, just lazy. Yet, she asked me 4x to open a credit card. She spent much more time making excuses than checking for GWP.
Pathetic customer service. And BTW, there was no one in line behind me.
Never again Northbrook!

Marcella from the MAC counter was extremely helpful. I asked her to help me find a MAC foundation shade, and she also suggested some other products from MAC to complete the look. I ended up buying the whole look because she is very talented at makeup. She's very kind and has amazing customer service skills

Long overdue review for Erin (told spelling Earin) although this was in May I had an unforgettable experience with her due to her being personable, supportive, and understanding guidance of specific needs.
I was in a last minute rush before a concert and needed to find specific products I’d be using for the first time from skincare to hair care. Descriptively I remember Earin with curly hair on the shorter side, beautifully rich with melanin, medium complexion. Beautiful Black woman. Awesome personality.
She offered the best experience so I selectively choose this Ulta over the other that’s also close by. It could’ve been May 15th or more suggestively May 17th to be exact. During the day. Earin was welcoming, understood my being short on time. I bought everything she recommended! I left with accurate products, feeling seen and comfortable the entire time. It unfortunately is not always this experience.
So special thanks to Earin as she invited a safe space. Most importantly I observed her care was consistent with ALL customers in more than one visit. Keep being you girl!

Truly upset. The customer service at this location has dramatically went down. I walked in and the Caucasian lady I held the door for behind me was greeted and welcomed to the store. They immediately asked her if she needed help. Little do they know I'm a makeup artist with an ulta credit card. No one approached me to ask if I needed any help. I spent 20 min playing with makeup seeing if anyone would ask me if I needed help finding an item. It was Saturday and suprisingly the store was not that busy for them to be so rude. I finally gave up and went up to ask for help. And to make matters worst, I had placed an online pick up order for a black IT linear that was on sale among other things. When I got home, I realized the associate who did my order clearly had one silly job to do and bagged my order with a brown liner. I wonder how you screw that up if the sku don't match? So I wasted more gas going to another location. They were alot more helpful (Niles) greeted me when I came in. The only issue it's now 9pm and the liner is sold out all over even online and the stores were closing. So thank you to the brilliant associate who did my order. I wasted gas and time running around and just to have the item be sold out even online. Please read your orders and double check them before you bag them and stop stereotyping people. If you need verification you can check your cameras, and I will also bet any amount of money if you do your inventory count you will be missing a brown retractable IT liner that was on sale 9.30 for the 21 days of beauty.

I want to highlight an experience I had at Ulta yesterday with Marisol, the Clinique beauty consultant. I have bought products for untold years from Ulta. Yesterday, though, I had the pleasure of meeting Marisol and she was fantastic. I showed her pictures of my daughters and she picked out great products for us. I have my own beauty consultant and I couldn’t be happier.

Jackie was nice . Up-sold me but gave me a gift. Not happy that the discounts didnt stack. I had been a diamond member for years until the pandemic.

Iesha was absolutely amazing!! I came in inquiring about any black owned skincare products, Ulta did not carry the brand I was looking for but Iesha recommended what she use personally for her skin. I bought all the things she recommended and I’m satisfied!!! She was on her way to her lunch, but she had no problem helping me before she took a break!!! I truly appreciate you , thanks Iesha!!!

Short staffed, understaffed, try to upsell. I will purchase on line or go back to Sephora. This place is hit or miss with service.
Thanks for the response albeit many weeks later. I specifically was looking for a Nars product which ended up being sold out of all your stores as I checked on line. The flippant attitude of the person who finally got to me 10 minutes later was not appreciated. I went direct with Nars and couldn't be more pleased with their service.

The sales manager was extremely polite and helped me through out the purchase they also gave me a free gift and offered me so much choices. Simply love this place and can’t wait to visit again. ☺️

The hair stylists at the salon at this location and another one are scamming the customers by tacking on additional services you didn’t request when you booked the appointment.
