Purchased 6 items totalling $30. No problem there. I'm also totally ok with the likely $25 gross profit created by these items. But when asked if I wanted to purchase a t-shirt bag to carry these items out of the store I declined on principle alone. SHAME on you WALGREENS for charging $0.10 for a cheap bag that cost you less than 2 cents. Restaurants provide (free of charge!), beautiful paper, colorfully decorated, rope handled shopping bags to their customers. Bags that cost them upwards of $0.50/ea. This is a cost of doing business. I hope that others will see this kind of business practice as a reason to conduct their business elsewhere. I certainly will.

Poor customer service and one of the worst Walgreens I have ever visited. I’ve been to this location so many times and it’s the same unhappy staff that works there. I now will be driving to another further location as I have had some really terrible experiences here.
There is a grumpy older gentleman that always sits by the front cash register and doesn’t even say hello or even respond when someone says hi or thank you and doesn’t seem like he even wants to be there. I went to return an item and had the barcode. He asked where I originally bought it and I had bought it from another Walgreens and he let us a huge sigh. Not sure what the issue was but he didn’t explain the reason for his disdain. I said thank you twice and he ignored me. It does not take a lot to be kind but I guess it does for the staff at this particular Walgreens location.

Poor customer service. Poor staffing. They get the prescriptions wrong most of the time. They call saying prescription is ready, when you get there, it’s always “it’ll be ready in 15 min”

I have been coming here for years and the service is slow. Also they get my prescriptions wrong at times. You don't earn very much in rewards either.

This pharmacy is a joke. I’m amazed that they’re still in business. Shocking. They never have any of my medications available. They can easily take 2 weeks for the medication to be ready- like do they think I can wait 2 weeks to be treated?? Also once they delivered the meds to me and it never arrived. I swear for weeks I called numerous times for the status of my meds and they said they don’t have it, out of stock, etc etc. within a month of this place I switched pharmacies and I’m never coming here again.

As I was emptying my cart at the register I was immediately asked for my ID. I was still UNLOADING my cart. Extremely rude Manager who actually yelled at me. He then asked if I knew the cashier had disabilities!!! How would and why would I know that???? Wouldn't it make sense to wait until the customer completed emptying their cart.. Unbelievable

The pharmacy is absolute garbage (10/6/23 • 6PM-7PM) - it took me 18.5 minutes to get a live body on the line and in only 2 seconds was I hung up on. Take this job seriously or go clean toilets. ??

Bow-tie there any extra charge for a miserable employee. Went into the Walgreens on Pfingsten Rd at Willow in Northbrooke, Il on Dec 5th. Was checked out by an older Indian gentleman. He was in no hurry to get to me-I was the only one in line and he fiddled with some boxes behind the counter before taking my item to being it up. He didn't acknowledge me or ever make I contact. I said "thank you" as he finished counting change- he said nothing. The woman who came up behind me to check out said "good morning" and he again said nothing. I realize it is hard to get help these days, but this wort should not be working with the public. I'll stick with CVS or another pharmacy in the future. Dave from Reno.

Pharmacy is good. Front counter could use a little more customer service.

About 2 weeks ago I went to this Walgreens to get my Covid bivalent booster shot and flu shot at the same time. I didn't expect this experience to be so positive that I would write a 5-star review about it! The pharmacist technician, Salwa at the counter was friendly and nice to take care of the registration. Then, a real shout out to Heather, the nurse/technician who was to put the 2 shots in my arm. Heather was very professional and friendly, and made good suggestions in a non-pushy way. I didn't know that you can have 2 different shots on one arm at the same time, so, I was going to have one shot on each arm. She said that I could put both shots in one arm if I wanted as a lot of people do that, and asked me if I wanted 1 or 2 sore arms. So, this was a no brainer. Even though I had been to numerous flu shot appointments over the past 20 years, and been to many Covid shots as well, this was the only time that I felt that the nurse/technician really liked her job, was very clear with her instructions, took her time but was efficient at the same time, and did a great job. I usually bruised quite easily with shots, this time there's no bruising, so it's a big plus! The only thing is, each time you go to a pharmacy to get a shot, you never get the same nurse! If you call to make an appointment instead of booking online, it doesn't hurt to make an appointment with Heather for the injection!
