So having a garage sale and been moving stuff out of storage throughout the day. Work being done on the floor, but there was nothing to indicate I wouldn’t have access to my unit when returning. The unit already has restricted hours of access. So I go back thinking I can get the rest of my stuff for the garage sale and cannot get to my unit because they are painting the floors. It’s an hour before normal closing anyway. This work should be done after hours so customer access isn’t impacted. Absolutely horrible. I will be moving out and next time I need space, it won’t be here.

Northfield location was very clean and organized. Staff was very helpful getting moved in. Facility has plenty of space for large vehicles to move in and out.

Miguel was awesome! He made it a very easy process from start to finish. He was quick to point out, tips on the elevator and different storage lockers, etc. Security at the facility is great!

My experience with Extra Space Storage at Northfield was terrific! Thomas, the assistant manager was funny, very patient and informative. He made a list of things I will put in, showed me several units, anaylzed each one's pros and cons, assisted me to reserve one unit that fits my need and go through details of payment plans. He even offered suggestions of how to arrange my things when they arrive! I was amazed by his service.
The second day, I called in and talked to Miguel, the store manager, and rented the reserved unit. Miguel was awesome. He guided me through payment and contract process, gave me instructions of using the facility and answered all my questions. Everything is smooth and pleasant.
This facility is located on a light-traffic street, immaculate, very well-maintained, with climate control and easy access to units. Spacious indoor parking space, so no worry about weather condition of the move day. Lots of other storage facilities nearby does not even have indoor parking. Top notch service that is hard to enjoy anywhere else and very reasonable price.
I would recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone who needs short-term or long-term storage space.
