I have been coming to this dealership for years. I have had nothing but positive experiences at this dealership until tonight. Saturday evening I came across concerning/urgent mechanical issues. I called the dealership and let them know what was going on, they encouraged me to drop it off for an inspection. So, I did just that and I dropped my X1 off for an inspection, Julio was beyond helpful during this situation, and assured me everything was in good hands. I always leave Northfield BMW with nothing but positive words even during tough situations like this. Once inspections were complete I decided I was going to go a BMW mechanic nearby, since I would be parting ways with my well loved X1 in less than a month. We were rudely greeted by Chris Goodrich, a Service Advisor. He told us to head to the cashier, which they nicely told us to go back to Chris since they had no paperwork on file. Again, same attitude and anger? While there, my dad is one energetic person and encouraged me to look around at the new BMWs to trade in my X1 for but I honestly refused because of how poorly treated I felt. I understand humans have bad days and we go through our own personal issues, but this is no way to treat a loyal customer.

Chris at Fields is the best and the only guy I would work with. He went above and beyond to help me with a tire that kept leaking, and tried multiple solves in order to save me the cost of a full tire and rim replacement. I would highly recommend working with Chris. He seems to genuinely care about his customers

I brought my 2011 BMW into the dealership for repair or to have them buy it.After several months, they can not tell me the location of the vehicle, and they have not paid me money to buy it.it appears they have stolen the vehicle, and I will contact the police.

Worked with Chris in Service for regular maintenance and a headlight issue covered under warranty and his customer service was top notch! The entire process was smooth thanks to his communication throughout. He made sure my car was properly cared for, that I was provided a rental when they had to keep the car overnight and that the checkout process was efficient.

We bought a 2018 X5 with 40k miles on it and we realized that the driver seat had a small crack on it and we didn't noticed that there were windshield chips. We talked to our sales and she said management agreed to fix it on their dime.Fast forward I got the car back and the cracks on the seat is not fixed, cracks are still visible like it was never touched. The windshield chips, weren't filled in with resin. NOthing was done, I have photos of before I went in and after. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACEI called to tell them that nothing was fixed and they switched on us that we have to cover the windshield that its an old car, excuses, excuses Will never go back.

I recently had my 330i in for routine service. They found a bulged tire and an alignment issue (thank you Illinois rt 53). They sent a video of the issue and kept me informed of the status. I had a rental car and it was delivered in clean, perfect condition. When my car was ready, it was washed and appears to have been hand dried (no spots or drips). Ed, my service rep was great in keeping me informed. I’ve had great service there with past vehicles and will continue to recommend Fields BMW for both purchase and service.

Great service and always with a smile! A rare occurrence these days… Fields Service is efficient, prompt and gives you a realistic timeline if you are waiting onsite. It has a very comfortable waiting area and excellent complimentary food service… also with a friendly smile! Always a job well done in my experience. Thank you!

Always easy to deal w service. Waiting room is comfortable and good food & beverage options. Fields was about only dealer in area that provided a fair new vehicle price during Covid.

Top quality service! Got all four tires changed in the exact time they said. Great free lunch service and even a complimentary Uber when I needed to run home. Many kudos to the entire Fields team!!!

It is such a pleasure to deal with Chris at Fields BMW. Patient, knowledgeable, friendly...etc. I've told him that he's one of the reasons I keep coming back to the dealership!
