I cannot speak highly enough of Freds of Northfield, the service, the attention to detail and particularly the communication on what was happening with my vehicle was first class!
I’ve been servicing cars for 35 years mostly at dealerships and in all honesty the service that Manny provides is better than any I’ve been.
Will definitely e going there for all my Auto service in the future.

Hands down best experience with repair i’ve ever had. My partner and I are currently road tripping and had an issue with our van. We became pretty much stranded in Illinois so we went down to this shop for Mannie to take a look and diagnose an issue. He figured it out, we got the part overnighted, and the next day he fixed it. Mannie squeezed us into a spot and worked quickly to get us up and running again. He was so nice and the prices were unbeatable. Everyone there is so hardworking and won’t stop for anything. HUGE THANKS MANNIE!!!

The mechanic does a great job of explaining what the mechanics find and discussing options for repair when possible. I also appreciate that they track my car's history and keep an eye on its aging process.
