I’ve finally come around to writing this two years later but my experience as a first time car buyer was amazing! Joe Fuentes was professional, knowledgeable and trusting. From setting up an appointment to view the vehicle, finding a lender and even helping with setting up insurance, Joe was patient and walked me through the whole process of purchasing a vehicle. Would definitely recommend meeting with Joe!

I bought my car from Fields Jaguar in Northfield, IL. It was the absolutely the worst experience I've ever had buying anything from any dealer; motorcycle, car, or boat. They absolutely refused to do anything about the burned out lights, squeaky seats, bubbled tinting, scratches, etc. I mean not a single dollar off, not even a service manual. I hammered and plowed and hemmed and hawed and finally got a tank of gas with my purchase. Ha, a tank of gas. This was after hammering the general manager for well over a half hour.Then 3 days later one of the suspension travel sensors literally froze and cracked the shaft. I didn't even drive 100 miles and no rain or anything. I firmly believe they rigged it somehow, maybe a crap ton of wd40 or something I don't know. The rear diff fluid was severely low and the engine oil was extremely dirty. There was no pre-purchase service or anything...just a turn and burn. They were fairly rude and extremely unresponsive. I was sooooo pissed I had to go outside and sit in my car for a half hour to calm down before completing my purchase. The sales lady said "maybe this isn't the car for you" and I said NO, this isn't the dealership for me. And two days after I completed my purchase, I must have gotten about 20 calls to my number for an auto warranty, so they sold my info immediately.Why did I complete the purchase? Because it was only 1 of 3 total V black coupes I could find for sale anywhere in the US at the time. And I can fix stuff, so I knew I could fix the broken stuff.In the future I would run from any Fields dealership...period

Initially, I was concerned my service issues would not be completely addressed. However, my concerns were escalated to a service manager and in the end, the Northfield Jaguar service team repaired my vehicle to my satisfaction.A clean new Land Rover loaner was provided and they provide timely updates of service repairs and notified as soon as my vehicle was ready.

My wife and I have been customers at Fields for several cars. Most recently her Jaguar experienced an unexpected sidewall damage which required rapid repair and tire replacement. This was all accomplished within a single day. Our experience with Fields has been consistently high-quality, and we are very happy with them.

It was a pleasure working with Joe Fuentes. I made the purchase remotely and have not been to the dealership. That said, Joe went over the top to accommodate me , especially his timely responses to any of my email or text messages. Joe and the dealership were very proactive during the transaction including making the shipping arrangement. My car actually arrived two days before I was expecting to see it. This is my favorite dealership! Everyone is so professional and honest. I see Phil in service and he never disappoints. He gets the job done and I never feel like I'm being ripped off. I spent a lot of money on my car and the service is 10/10 . I've been a fields customer for 20 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you to everyone at fields in Northfield!

Man, what a horrible experience with the service department. It seems these folks are great when you're buying a car (see all the positive reviews!) but a mess when it comes to servicing them. And when buying a Jaguar, let's be honest--that's what counts.I bought a certified Jaguar (2 yrs old) a few months back, still well under factory warranty. Needless to say, the check engine light has since come on, also a new weird clicking sound, and also the parking sensors had stopped working.So I take the car into this dealership to fix it. [Facepalm]1) I was told that to fix the parking sensors, despite the car being under factory warranty, I would need to pay $2,000. Um, what? "The parking system" isn't covered by the factory warranty? Cool, I just spent $55K on a car and now I'll drive it for the next X years without the parking assist.2) They tell me to come in Saturday morning to do the work--but when I get there, the part still hadn't arrived. I'm told "well the parts don't come til 11:30 or 12:30 or so. So..........why send me first thing Saturday morning? Come on folks, get it together--you've literally cost me my day off.3) Btw the "fix" failed, the car still makes the clicking sound. [Facepalm again.]These aren't Japanese cars folks, they break. And when your Jaguar breaks, save yourselves--you'll need to go someplace else to get em fixed.

I took in my Jag for a check engine light knowing it was a warranty covered oxygen sensor. Jeremy was straightforward, pleasant and upfront about the $290 cost of diagnosis if it was something else. They kept me up-to-date with text messages and the car was ready in 3 hours. Only down side - no loaners provided
