UPDATE - Beyond horrible customer service in Nov 2025 compels me to change my repeated 5 star reviews to a 1 star - way to go new management at the Service Dept at Land Rover Northfield - details to follow:
Shockingly horrible customer service experience with Land Rover Northfield Service Dept that wiped out 15+ years of trust, goodwill & a longstanding business relationship.
I dropped off my 2019 Velar (which was 1 of 3 Land Rovers that I had bought over the years from Fields Land Rover) for service on 11-21-25 and drove away with a loaner. 2 nights later I was rear-ended while 8 cars deep at a total standstill waiting for a light to change in Chicago. The car that hit me was barely drivable but my loaner seemed ok at the time - accident happened at 6:07 pm 2 blocks from my home & by the time the police arrived it was completely dark. I called the dealership after the accident but service was already closed.
The next morning I called the Land Rover Northfield service dept to let them know what happened & to ask how to proceed. That is when I landed on Carolyn of Service and she completely dropped the ball. Carolyn was rude, insensitive, and completely dismissive - she begrudgingly admitted that the accident wasn’t my fault but clearly stated that the situation was not her problem, Land Rover Northfield didn’t need a copy of the police report, was not going to help me by providing another loaner (in fact she actually laughed derisively at that idea), and that it was up to me whether or not I should return the damaged loaner now or whenever - WHAT??? What sort of customer service is that at a luxury car dealership? No empathy, no concern as to whether I had been hurt, no understanding that I was worried that I might cause more damage to the loaner by driving it 25 miles back to the dealership, no awareness that I was a loyal customer whose Velar was just out of warranty & I most likely was in the market for a new Range Rover. Sort of short-sighted & extremely subpar.
I reached out to the “service agent” Jeremy who was supposedly handling my car’s repairs and this newbie basically parroted Carolyn - in this case, not only was Jeremyi insensitive, he was inexperienced & tried to hide that with misplaced arrogance.
I did return the loaner the next day, taking side roads as I saw that morning that the exhaust pipe had been dislodged & was dangling. The car clanked after every speed bump & pothole that I slowly went over - a very nerve wracking situation. I did speak to the Manager Brandon when I arrived and all he could keep saying was “That’s not right” as I told him of the unprofessional behavior of his employees. So …
Beyond horrible customer service when Land Rover Northfield could have recognized an opportunity to support a loyal customer & probably sell her a new car but instead chose to dish out rude, insensitive treatment. Carolyn & Jeremy - you both outdid yourselves in your unprofessionalism and short-sightedness.
As always, an awesome experience with @markshapiro and his service crew at Land Rover Northfield - professional, efficient, comprehensive & this group goes the extra mile for clients! I also really like the video diagnostics that drop into my inbox - a great way to make informed decisions. I will continue driving from the city to this @LandRover service location - far superior to others in the area!

I just had my Range Rover serviced at Land Rover and the experience was excellent. Tommy, my technician, was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. He took the time to explain what was being done and made sure everything was handled perfectly. Really appreciate the great service. Highly recommended!

Outstanding service from Carolyn , Tommy, Brandon and the service technicians. Their whole team is very caring and professional, always goes above and beyond for me as a customer of 5+ years. I do not live near but will always make the trip to service my vehicle here because of them!

Update: I made another appt with Jeremy to have his team look over my Evoque before driving it from IL to PA and back. All went well, but upon my return, I had a question about some insulation which seemed to be slipping. Jeremy suggested when to come in, I received prompt service, and he even asked if I'd like to have my fluids topped off. I consistently leave Land Rover Northfield pleasantly surprised, and I continue to feel that Jeremy is an asset there.
Jeremy was an exceptional Service Advisor. He was knowledgeable, resourceful, efficient and responsive. I like the video my technician provided explaining the service that he performed. I appreciated the availability of shuttle drivers who were prompt and courteous. Even the fellow in the Parts department was particularly helpful. Considering my previous experiences with service in NJ, I feel Land Rover Northfield offers good value for dollar and exceptional service. They also a have a nice waiting area with assorted snacks and beverages. I’m quite happy to continue getting my service at this location.

Mark Shapiro, in service, is such a pleasure to work with. A true problem solver with the "customer first mindset". I drive a long way to give Fields LR my service b/c I know its well worth the extra windshield time. Mark, thank for always making this a easy experience! I strongly endorse Mark. Try him. You will see the difference. Outstanding!

I have been coming to Land Rover Northfield since the day I bought my Land Rover in April 2021. From the time I was looking my sales rep Dennis was amazing and still to this day provides me valuable input whenever I have a question. Everyone at the dealership is always so nice and making sure you are well taken care of. The service team led my Mark Shapiro is top notch! I have never had any problems whenever I go in. If I have an issue I reach out and am immediately scheduled. I usually sit and work from there as it's easier for me, but I am always given updates and am never felt to be oversold or overpromised. Very happy and will absolutely look to buy future vehicles and have them serviced here for years to come.
