Not friendly and dismissive. Originally wanted a pedicure along with fill in, but quickly changed my mind once I realized how careless they are when it comes to attention to detail. I was going to take my loss in peace UNTIL I realized there was a stray hair in my nail’s acrylic! Let them tell it, they don’t see it. Honestly beyond disgusting and careless. Mistakes do happen, but their unwillingness to fix it, in an EMPTY shop, says alot about their work and service they provide here.Would not recommend.Service: Acrylic nails

I was a faithful customer until this shop caused my nails to have fungus. I asked the owner does she use anti fungus spray/ solution? Her reapply was NO we don't need to. One month later I noticed fungus under my nails. Now I have to deal with medication and doctor's visit with a bill attach. This business did not offer any assistance with my issue they caused. The owner is ignorant for not being understanding to what her Negligence caused. I will take this further. Goofy , nasty nail owner.Service: Acrylic nails

Unprofessional and disrespectful. I never leave reviews, but after my most recent visit to Foxy Nails in Northlake with owner Tammy, I am so upset that I need to share about my experience. I've been going to Foxy Nails for over two years and always worked with Tammy, the owner. She is an incredibly anxious and rude person who always rushes through her work to get to the next customer and is completely insensitive to her client's feelings and concerns. I went in a few days ago for a gel manicure. I called four days prior to make my appointment and arrived at the salon the day of five minutes early and was literally the first customer at the salon. Upon walking in, Tammy rushed me to pick out a color. Then, when she began working on my nails, she made a mean comment about how there's too much skin around my nails. I told her I've been away due to a death in the family. She said, "Oh, you need to go to therapy." Instead of saying, "I'm so sorry for your loss." She then cut my cuticle abruptly and it still hurts! She didn't apologize for that either, and nor did Tammy, the owner, apply any ointment on the cut she caused. Another irritating thing, Tammy literally left me mid appointment and tended to a different customer who apparently returned from the hospital and wasn't able to cut her own toenails. Ummm, I made this appointment way in advance, and she just leaves me and gets another woman's nail polish, puts a mask on this woman, and moves her walker to a more convenient place while I'm sitting there for four minutes waiting for my service to be finished. I thought having an appointment would be the best decision. I was wrong. So, Tammy puts on the gel manicure and two days later, my manicure, no-chip, is chipping! Now, it's all off, and there went my $36! Tammy, you often tell me you want to support small businesses, which I understand. But, you don't understand how to treat others with kindness and respect. You tell me to see a therapist? Wow, that's nice to say to your long-time customer. You've now lost a customer. You screwed me out of my money and hurt my feelings and cuticle, too. I'm going elsewhere. I don't recommend this place ever, unless you just have money to throw away. Horrible. Simply horrible.Service: Gel manicures

I very very rarely leave a negative review. However, I was so disappointed in the service provided. I went in for a manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was done by a younger man-he did an excellent job. Then I transitioned to the manicure chair. I should mention you have to pay before the service is done so I paid and left a good tip before my manicure. My manicure was done by an older man. He was rude from the very beginning. I kid you not he painted my entire nail and around the nail including the skin around super fast. He would then go around each nail and clean up the sloppy job with his nail. He was not even trying to do a neat job and some spots on the nail were uneven or unpainted even after the second coat. I politely asked how many coats he would do and he gave me a face and said “I only do two!”. I showed him the spots that were missing polish and he said “it’s because you moved your hand and the polish moved”. It’s not what he said-it’s HOW he said it. I didn’t say anything else, but honestly don’t recommended mostly because of the customer service.Services: Pedicures

Service was amazing! My nails look great. It’s honestly the best pedicure, manicure I’ve had in a long time. Atmosphere was clean and Tammy was excellent.

I came here to get my nails done for an event and I have to say I was very disappointed. I asked for flowers and this man did not know what he was doing. I got the ugliest nail design I have ever seen, it looked NOTHING like my reference image. They charge 65$???? 15 more than the usual price for half the quality. It has been a week since I have gotten them done and they are literally falling off my nails. I have never had acrylics come off this easy in such a short amount of time. Definitely never going back. Would only recommend this place for solid colors on natural nails nothing more and I’d still be hesitant to do that. 0/10 there r better locations in the area!!!Service: Acrylic nails

We were hoping to support a local business but this place was a complete disappointment. I had my daughter make an appointment for herself to get her fingers and toes done (prom). She showed up on time with a friend and potential customer but from the start it seemed they weren't happy they were minors. Right away her friend decided not to have anything done based how they were being treated.Issues encountered during the visit:1) They allowed her friend to sit near her while she was being serviced. After a few minutes they made her friend move. This is when they stopped her services and demanded she pay half way through. She was like what? Why am I being asked to pay now? They then tried upselling and charging her more if she wanted the work completed. She brought her own polish and they said it would cost more if they used her gel high speed curing/drying polish. That makes no sense. They then took her polish and told her to use theirs. (They kept her 2 bottles polish!). It was clear in the end of this that they purposely separated her from her friend in order to apply selling pressure.2) They did here nails, toes, and massage at the same time then kept yelling at her to hold still repeatedly when it was impossible. She paid for separate services and they should not have been done together while ridiculing her for moving when the employees were moving her and basically fighting each other.3) The boy looking worker laughed and seemed super annoyed when she coughed to clear her throat. He works in a job with close public contact and acts as if he was bothered by a common human function.4) They kept repeating the price to her which made her feel disrespected. Like he needed reassurance she had the money. He was apparently so concerned that he made her pay half way through or he couldn't continue the service . She watched an no other customer was made to do this. He then changed his attitude once she paid and he realized she had plenty of money. Totally disrespectful.5) She literally watched another employee rip a girls acrylics off and not remove them correctly. She complained she was bleeding and it hurt.6) The final straw was when the guy forcefully and inappropriately grabbed my daughters hand and pulled on her arm while yelling at her not to touch her fingers together while they were drying under a light. Again this is a paying client who is a minor! My daughter left this place feeling abused so I took my daughter back after hearing the horrible experience she had and demanded an apology and a refund. Instead the "manager" suggested I should call the police on the employee! The employee was a frail looking little boy that treated her badly so if you do go here avoid him for sure. He listened while we complained about him and smiled the whole time. I may have been talking to his mother so maybe she will correct him but who knows.Services: Pedicures

First off I wanna say they are really nice people!! I went for a pedicure and full set !! How ever I was very disappointed in my nails (full set) they are uneven, wide, and the design is not good at all. I'm very upset at the work I got done I also paid a lot for which makes me even more unhappy with my full set...on the other hand my pedicure came out fine I didn't have a problem with that at all .. I will not recommend them for nails your, pedicure yes the man did a lovely job I thanked him for that as well !!!

Well I came here since the location was convenient and to have a mother’s daughter day. So disappointed that they were not able to help make this happen. I came in with my mom to have services done. They first took my mom and had me wait which was fine. Then a couple came in and took them right back. What about me? I would have like to sit next to my mom. Waited about 20 min for them to try and service me. At this point no thanks already aggravated. Then they finished my mothers pedicure and said $30. Okay what about her manicure? Oh you want mani to? Um yes I said mani and pedi. So unprofessional. Will not be back!!!!!!!

I went to Foxy Nail last-minute for a gel manicure. I'm new to the area and wasn't sure where to go. The salon is very clean and updated inside and the staff is friendly. They also have a large assortment of regular and gel polish colors to choose from. Bi (pronounced "Bee") did my nails and he did a wonderful job. He is very meticulous in his craft which I appreciate. It has almost been two weeks and my gel polish has yet to chip!
