My sister and I came in yesterday to do some shopping for my 21st birthday and we had such an amazing experience. Isaias was absolutely amazing, picking out beautiful options for us. He truly made it an unforgettable shopping experience. I loved everything he picked out for me it was so hard to say no to some things. Left feeling amazing with some fabulous pieces. Donatella also was checking in on us and helping with options, giving us great recommendations.

Ismael is the BEST!!!! My bestfriend and I had an experience with Ismael at Akira Oakbrook! He styled me for my birthday and made me feel so stylish, confident and fabulous. From the moment we walked in, he was so spot on!!!! Attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful. I came back later that same day, and he was just as welcoming and ready to help. I truly have no words other than how thankful I am! He is so cool!!! I can’t wait to have him style me again for my next event! Truly a blessing thank you, Ismael!!

Hello everyone. My wife and I came to return the goods (10.15.2024) since the size was small, we checked all the receipts and tags, but came to the store and gave the bag with the goods to the seller, she said that there was no tag although it was, and she could not return the goods to us, I went back to the car to check the tag, maybe it fell out, but it was not there. Returning to the store, we were going to go home, but my wife saw our tag behind the counter, the seller tore it off specifically so as not to return the goods. The seller swore at us although she was wrong, and did not return the goods. We were not pleased. Please pay attention to this seller (I did not remember her name). Date 10.15.2024, I think the management can find out who it was.

I came in to the store searching for a concert outfit & i felt a bit hopeless because i didn't know what exactly what would look good with me. But then Mariah stepped in to help me! She was so sweet & helpful towards me. She guided me with some outfits she chose out, which she for sure knows how to style. I definitely didn't think i'd be able to pull it off but i did. Thanks to Mariah i stepped out of my comfort zone & picked out an amazing outfit. She definitely needs a raise because she made me feel very comfortable in the store & made my customer experience the best. Best store associate & stylist. Thank you : )

I’ve only purchased from Akira twice, and I realize I’m not the typical Akira customer, but I was drawn to their eclectic style of clothing. I made a purchase from the store in Schaumburg, exchanged the item in Oakbrook, and because the item still did not work out I needed to return it, so I returned it to the store at Oakbrook. I have never in my life experienced the most despicable customer service from a retailer’s cashier and then the manager. Since I was not quite familiar with the return policy, other than you have to return the item within 14 days for a store credit, I had a simple question about the store credit, which was how was it issued? Do I get a credit slip? Do I get a credit to my membership account? The cashier seem to only focused on the 14 day no cash back part of the return policy. She was not trying to hear the simple question that I was asking and start tapping on, the return policy that’s printed and posted at the cash register and said i need to read the policy again and it’s at the managers discretion how they want to handle the store credit. I said I can’t read I’m literate. Can you please explain how the credit is issued? She said, let me get a manager for you. The manager came with the utmost attitude, and it was all clear to me at that point. This was their standard level of customer service. I asked the manager for her name and she replied, I don’t have to give you my name, turned around and said to the cashier, “give her the credit so she can get out of the store and go shop somewhere else”. I stood there in butter disbelief of this treatment. I said this all because I asked about how credits are issued. I was totally shocked. Owners Eric Hsueh, Erikka Wang, Sarah Hughes, and Gordon Liao, your Oakbrook store need some CS training, starting with the rude manager who wouldn’t give her name and was the closing manager on Friday, May 31 in Oakbrook.
