I visited some years ago to purchase a necklace and had an amazing experience with Nicole - the single star is for Nicole's lasting impression.I came back to learn about a few pieces I was interested in, and this time, the overall experience & service was lackluster; I didn't feel like my time and business was valued. I walked in and was greeted from afar, nobody came up to us. Two SA's were in conversation with each other in the right room of the store... I walked up to them, & the blonde SA out of the two chose to help us. She was cut and dry, not necessarily nice. A dead look in her eyes. Friendly for the sake of being friendly, like someone who doesn't like you at a party but is forced to talk to you. Not conversational in any way. When I asked her questions, she didn't speak to any of the jewelry as a teaching moment, highlight the design or material elements, or elaborate on the pieces I was interested in. She was rushing me. I tried asking why she liked David Yurman, what sets the brand apart from competitors, and it wasn't the best experience. Sloppy, cold, & rude. It's not that I expect you to go above & beyond (trust me, I get it) but when you've experienced such GOOD service before, you kind of realize "well, this is... different." This isn't Hermès, mind you.I did, however, try on a few pieces they brought me. Unfortunately the only mirror in Men's is on the door leading to back of house. Was a bit awkward with the other SA's running to the back & having to wait for me while I glanced in the mirror. I do appear very young for my age, but you never know who has money or the type of clientele you can build. I really loved the pieces I was eyeing and was more than ready to purchase the necklace and bracelet set, but I ended up playing along with the vibe and made it appear I wasn't interested. Ended up leaving with a bad taste in my mouth & won't be returning to this location. I mainly shop at Tiffany's for basics and have had amazing experiences where the staff are knowledgeable and polite - I suppose I'll take my business back. Some feedback: at least try to make it look like you care about your job, you like working there, put on a smile, & read up on the Designer notes.

Bought the men’s Boxchain bracelet for my husband & 2 sons as gifts- all the same on different occasions.. when purchasing, I was not advised of the faulty clasp that many customers have had with is bracelet & when 2 of the 3 clasps displayed weak springs, I took them in for repair, assuming it was bad chance. The 3rd & most recent purchase fell off my sons wrist and is gone forever. Davis Yurman has admitted this is a manufacturer issue and have redesigned the clasp for future bracelets & will replace the clasp on my 2 remaining bracelets but will not replace the faulty lost bracelet. Very poor business move.

We went to David Yurman for our rings and couldn't be happier with the staff at the Oakbrook location! Nicole helped us design a custom engagement ring which is nothing short of amazing! We went back and purchased our wedding rings from them and they are kind, caring, knowledgeable, and have an amazing customer serviced focused sales approach. They have secured our business for a lifetime.

3 bracelets have broken and one the clasp must have opened and is lost. We have paid for one repair which cost near as much as the original bracelet. Then another clasp broke and then one fell off and is gone. All were owned roughly one year or less. The quality here is a huge disappointment and they do not guarantee their items for even a year like many others. We are not returning and spreading the word. We easily have dropped $3500 -$4k in this store with only a couple items left in rotation. Disappointed.

Sandra, is the absolute best! We were instantly greeted as soon as we walked in, even with the store being rather busy at the time. Sandra was patient and so knowledgeable with my fiancé and I as we were browsing and trying on several wedding bands. Not once did I feel rushed as I was going back and forth trying to decide between 2 different bands. We are from out of state, so Sandra had our rings shipped to our home and has been in communication with us every step of the way. The entire team at the Oakbrook David Yurman storefront was so kind. My fiancé also got my Christmas gift from this location, and based on that experience alone we knew this was the perfect place to go for our wedding bands. We are happy returning customers!

Krystal was beyond pleasant. I’ve been dealing with her for the past week via phone communications. She understood my personality, I’m someone that likes to be on the constant-go. I like to get in and get out. The fact that she understood what I needed and what not to show me… means she really listens to her clients. It came down to “David Yurman and Tiffany’s” to me it was not a hard choice. The story behind “Yurman” is way more compelling, especially connections that reminded me of my own family… New Yorker-Artist. I’m not bashing “Tiffany's” because I do have Tiffany jewelry. Ever since learning of the story behind “David Yurman” I’ve heavily leaned more towards that way.Krystal, really solidified the relationship. The process was streamlined and I enjoyed learning more about Krystal. I’m sending her all that positive vibes.Thank you for assisting us!Much Aloha,Jennifer

Nicole pairs jewelry like a Sommelier pairs wine. Do not ask for anyone else.

Terrible service and customer relations. Do not trust this jeweler. They do not follow best practices and do not care at all about sentimental pieces and proper ethical repair. They do not do repairs themselves, but instead ship off to a third party NY repair shop.
