My experience with Neiman Marcus has not been pleasant in anyway. You walk into the store and nobody greets you. They do not have a service desk anywhere so you need to go to the department you purchased the product from. I did not know this and so when I finally found help, they said I can't help you, you need to go to the specific department. When I arrived in the specific department, I needed to be in the woman was not welcoming or friendly. The woman was not very friendly, and did not understand what I was explaining after explaining it multiple ways. She got upset with me and told me I was being unnecessary. An extremely unpleasant experience I will never shop here again.

In an age of lazy retailers, one stands alone: Neiman Marcus. Remember the local feel of Fields? The customer service at Nordstrom's? They are both gone and all that remains is Neiman's hyper-focus on the customer. Recently at their Oak Brook location I was buying a small hostess gift. In walks Stephany. She helped me pick out something nice, wrapped it, rewrapped the stuff I bought at the book store, walked me over to pick up the sweater I ordered, of course helped wrap that, gave me advice on what to write on the card, talked without making me feel rushed and no joke, gave me a little hug. I spent $60 (plus the sweater that was already purchased). But in that moment they made a customer for life. Not kidding.

i went to neiman to buy my dear mother a christmas gift. No one in the fragrance department would not help me. They are very racist here. i won't shop here anymore. Thanks Nordstorm. i wish i could leave no stars

Never delivery on date thay tell... always super late and not possible to get anyone on the phone for hours! Don't need an answer like "sorry for bla bla bla..." just improve your services - more work less talk guys!! You're not some cheap random store...

I ordered 3 bottles of Chanel sublimate lextrait de cream in store. I only delivered one. The sales lady said the 3 bottles are from different places and delivered from different dates. I told them I have ring camera and showing I only received one small package one 8/16/2023. Then they changed their words, said all 3 are from one place. They want me pay the 2 bottles I didn't receive! And I have to fight for this! This is the worst experience ever!!! I strongly recommend only buy what is in the store. Do not ask them to ship to you. Because if the package didn't ship or somehow get lost, they still make you to pay it. Below are the text messages two different people sent to me. You can see how ridiculous their responses are.

Ordered a belt for my trip that showed pick up the same day, that was on Sunday. The order status was still unfillef by Tuesday and the tracking showed it’s being shipped from their warehouse in Texas with estimated arrival Thursday. Inconvenient but fine since I travel Friday. Thursday the estimated arrival gets delayed to Friday - so now I won’t have my belt. Customer support is no help and don’t even answer the text support they provide Will not be spending my money here again.

If I could give negative 10 stars I Definitely would Neiman Marcus is the absolute worst so called high end store ever!! This is the second worst shopping experience with this retailer. First I ordered a pair of high end designer sneakers only to get the run around from customer service regarding purchase confirmation & tracking info after finally receiving the shoes a week after so called express shipping. I received a pair of someone's disgusting old, filthy, previously owned, worn out shoes!! Being livid was an understatement. No Apologies at all. Second I received a purse for a bday present and can't exchange for something else because I'm pass 30 days. If your a luxury brand why can't you stand behind your products? Why a thirty day exchange policy on a brand new item. Makes absolutely no sense. I will never ever shop this retailer ever again!! ITS ALWAYS BEEN SAKS FOR ME!! YOou all need a total revamping or just close your doors for good!

Today I went to the oakbrook store to purchase Jo Malone perfume. The clerk in that department was not interested in helping my cousin or me.I asked about one of the perfumes and she said they didn’t have it out and didn’t know where it might be. So because of the terrible customer service I proceeded to order it from Macys when I got to my car. That will be the last time I step in that store.

My first time there was a good experience, thanks to Bill, and RJ both of them are very kind Rj help me chose three dresses, I usually don’t like to wear dresses and I’m very picky with my clothing. RJfollow up with me about some other dresses him and Bill are one of best at helping customers. The 4 stars are because in my 5th time in the store in the dresses section we needed a dress for my niece, for her birthday party there was a brown girl that seem like she didn’t wanted to help us,she was on her phone.

Had a lunch meeting with seven other ladies and we all loved our experience & food. Caitlin was our waitress and did an outstanding job. Food is delicious and the setting is pretty. Not rushed, very relaxed

Always a pleasure having lunch at Neiman Marcus! The food was delicious and my waitress was so sweet to my 4 year old granddaughter. She even got her to finish her lunch but who could resist a Neiman Marcus choc chip cookie

Loved the store; super clean. Extremely nice service and very friendly people. We ended up getting the Mindgames Parfume set.
