Hours: Oakbrook Center is a spectacular outdoor mall located near I-88 in Oak Brook, Illinois, just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago. It is widely considered the best outdoor shopping center in Chicagoland. This big two-level mall features an expansive selection of department stores and specialty stores, including many high-end and expensive stores, though it lacks more budget options. The mall offers an abundance of one-of-a-kind dining and entertainment experiences, a food court, restaurants, and an AMC theater. The environment has a nice vibe, especially in the summer, with enjoyable flowers and waterfalls, and is very clean and modern looking. It is kid and family friendly. The parking lot can be packed, and weekends are terribly busy, so a weekday visit is recommended for shopping. Some note the Christmas decorations can be monotonous. Overall, it is a great place with a huge variety of stores.
