Nice and Understanding Staff. It's easy to find help and assistance within the building. Staff are very thorough, and the overall energy of the work place is that of no other.

In some ways they are pretty good, in many ways they are pretty bad. Customer service can be spotty

I recently tried to open a new account from a webpage ad for this bank as they have a good interest rate. I called and spoke to several people in Chicago and they couldn't have been nicer, answered my questions, and were so nice made me want to visit Chicago! Then the microdeposits whet through and I clicked on the link in the email they sent to open the account. Using the activation code, etc provided, it said "no such code exists" and other error messages. I tried refreshing the browser, etc etc and nothing worked. Then the problem started. I called and spoke to a woman who had no idea what I was talking about. She said she was in the online banking ***** but she was no help at all, and I was very courteous and patient as it's not her fault she's not properly trained. So I tried a different person and lady #2 was the first person I ran into that wasn't very nice. She also couldn't help me. I remained calm and courteous and ended up with a dial tone, the signal a cust ser rep gives you when they can't help you and they just give up, or if you are rude they hang up on you. So I tried lady #3 and she was GREAT. She said YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST CALL ON THIS, WE'VE GOTTEN OTHER CALLS ON THIS, WE KNOW WE HAVE A PROBLEM AND WE'VE SENT NOTES TO MARKETING TO GET THEM TO FIX IT FOR SOMETIME. Great. So they want me to trust them with my money online with no local branch for me to go to as I live in *****, and they can't even figure out how to establish new accounts without a big huge mess and numerous phone calls to poorly trained employees. Thank God I was able to finally get through to a rep who knew WTF she was doing. What a mess. I'm a senior citizen disabled veteran and frankly I don't need this stress in my life.

Received a "past due loan notice" from them. We DO NOT have a loan with them. We have never had a loan with them. I have never done any banking with them. I have NO IDEA how they received our contact information or what this notice is in regards to, as I have contacted the bank multiple times without an answer. The officer is named Julie Brzozowski. I recommend you do not do business with this bank or this particular banker as I think they are engaging in fraudulent activity or identity theft. Will be reporting them to Better Business Bureau.

They aren't open on saturdays and only open during the day during the week. If you need to cash a check or see a banker you need to take time off of work or you're out of luck. Their telephone agents give out incorrect information and tell you to go to a branch if you need clarification. Of course you can't do that unless you take time off if work. The website is equally useless.

The bank has lost a deposit and they're requiring me to get a tracing number from my company in order to find out where the deposit went. My company says they can't provide a tracing number and the deposit has not been returned back to them and they can't do anything until the deposit is returned back to them. The call center is useless.

This bank deposited a check that was stolen from my mailbox. Third party checks are not supposed to be honored. The back of check says" Pay to the Order of Shante Combs" She also forged my signature. The photo shows this and her acct. number from First Century Bank. 9572003901.

Takes almost 2 full weeks for a debit card to come in the mail. Cant deposit cash or checks in an atm if the bank is closed.
