Tried to check in early, no 2 queen rooms. No problem. Try to check in at check-in time, 3pm, still no 2 queen rooms. Wait for text confirming room is ready, doesn't come. Call at 5pm, there are no 2 queen rooms available. I'm given a king room. This is not what I paid for and confirmed at check-in time. Front desk couldn't care less, no interest in making it right. Avoid.

Absolutely stunning property and views. Great food and atmosphere. Staff is incredible, friendly, and upbeat. The lagoon is gorgeous. Take a walk on the path here, and you'll know what this means.

Good hotel ruined by extremely loud door closers that slam the room doors shut. Sounds like a bomb going off in the hallway. Can hear the rooms all around you including very loud toilets.

Raul from the front desk was great. I made an error on booking date and Raul was very accommodating in getting us in for the night. Very professional, very friendly and great customer service. Thank you Raul!

This place is buried in the woods of Oak Brook. We didn't mind because we liked the woodsy and secluded feel. We didn't stay at the resort as we were there to just get spa treatments. The hotel is dated and needs a major face lift. The parking lot is far from the front entrance. Valet is very reasonable $10 (0-6 hrs). We got massages, facials and pedicures that were provided by a third party hired by the hotel. It wasn't the best service for the price. Our bill came out to nearly $700 as a couple and were required to pay 20% gratuity that came out to $140 for the bothe of us. Never again!Noteworthy details: There is no spa attendant to welcome you. You have to check-in to the front desk of the hotel to get a key and instructions to guide yourself to another part of the hotel. Between parking, waiting for a key and actually waiting for someone to assist us at he spa, give yourself at least 30-minutes.Also beware, there are a lot of kids in the pool and locker room on Friday and Mondays due to the Family passes the resorts do. Young kids in the hot tub definitely ruins the romance vibes.

Be forewarned before you book a stay here. The guests are second class after any type of event taking place here. This used to be a Mc Donald’s corporate property. The staff is beyond rude. Unlike any other hotel I have stayed at. If you are a regular, they could care less. If you are a World of Hyatt member, they could care less. Good luck even getting a bottle of water. Then there’s the parking. There are a few precious spots close to the hotel but they are not for guests. The guest lot is about a 10 minute walk. Not bad if you want some exercise but terrible nevertheless. They have an inconsistent, extremely rude valet that’s kind of there and kind of not. Supposedly they have a shuttle from the lot but again, no rhyme or reason on when or how it works.Do not leave valuables in your car. The lot is a free for all. If parking at night, have some personal protection on you- at least a flashlight or mace.Rooms are dated and old. Be careful with your valuables there as well. While staying there , a half naked dude was wondering around the hotel and no one said a word to him.Yet as a Hyatt member you are treated with disdainRooms: Old and spread out. Paper thin wallsSafety: Not safe to park at night. Lobby may have nefarious characters roaming aroundNoteworthy details: Banquets and groups get priority over guests

Beware the pool is not a relaxing place for adults or parents who have well behaved kids. We bought an expensive day pass only to be bombarded by a group of boys (likely a bday party) who were whipping ppl with pool noodles and throwing nerf balls all over the place. I was lucky enough to get pelted in the face by a wet nerf ball while sitting in the hot tub and ended up with a migraine and a black eye. No parents in sight to control these kids. Meanwhile, my poor girls couldn't even swim because the pool was overtaken by these unsupervised boys.Hyatt, get it together and have an employee supervise what's happening in your pool. It's out of control. Wish I could get my money back.

If you are planning to have a romantic getaway, turn around, not the spot at all. Extremely opposite to romantic. If you are looking for a family spot for kids to hang out, you have reached your destination. The rooms looked average, services were below average- not even complimentary water bottles available. Pool and the gym was filled with kids in it.Location is good. Food and beverage prices were okay as well. This place just didn’t work well for me and my husband.Safety: The place looked very kid welcoming. ……

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook Chicago, and it was an experience that exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the check-in staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for what was to be a truly remarkable stay. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to walk our dog along the paved path adjacent to the hotel. This allowed us to enjoy our walk without having to trek in the mud.Dining at the hotel's restaurant was an absolute delight. I indulged in a smash burger, while my wife savored a steak sandwich—both dishes were prepared to perfection, offering a taste that lingered pleasantly long after the meal. The quality of the food was matched only by the exemplary service provided by our waiter, who ensured our dining experience was memorable and enjoyable. The amenities at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook Chicago further enhanced our stay. We took full advantage of the hot tub and pool, both of which were impeccably maintained and provided a perfect relaxation spot after a day of exploration. The hotel's proximity to the mall and a plethora of excellent restaurants added an extra layer of convenience and enjoyment to our visit, making it easy to experience the best of what the area has to offer.I wholeheartedly recommend the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook Chicago to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay, complemented by outstanding service and amenities. Whether you're visiting with your spouse, family, or pets, this hotel promises an unforgettable experience tailored to meet the needs of every guest. We are already looking forward to our next visit, confident in the knowledge that it will be just as wonderful, if not more so.

Great hotel for the whole family in Oak Brook. Parking is a little far from the entrance. They have a large pool but the water is not that warm. They do have a large hot jacuzzi to relax. They have several large rooms for meetings and wedding.Food was ok.Service was also decent. But they didn't give any extra mattress or blankets when we requested it.It is also expensive to stay here. Be ready to spend about $ 150 per night here.

This was a quiet, cozy, kinda hidden hotel, perfect for a weekend getaway. Rooms were comfortable and the hotel is close to Oak Brook Mall for an easy shopping day.We loved swimming in the pool and just lounging in the hotel room/ on the balcony. Staff was super friendly and even with an event going on in the lobby, the wing of the hotel we were in stayed quiet the whole weekend. This hotel is incredibly reasonable in pricing for how nice it is.We'll have to come back in summer to walk the paths that were closed for winter!
