“Best food pantry. They make sure people have enough food to last for two weeks. However, there is no waiting area, people standing outside in cold, hot, rain and snow. The lines are very long. They don't give people numbers while wait. Bring a chair to sit down and a cart to shop. The security guard is very helpful.”
“We were there for the event on the 24th. My godson told me about it and then I saw a flyer for it. My niece and I had a good time. We played all of the games, and we collected some clothes from the giveaway. I learned about the Westside Justice Center while there as well.”

“Like it's namesake, the Spirit of God is present. I began attending spirit of God Fellowship after covid. It took me a while to get used to it because of the Ministries I had previously been at. However the Lord began to show me from 1st Corinthians the 12th chapter about the body of Christ and the different Administrations. Sogf is not trying to be like others. They are doing what God has them doing. And I love it. Anybody reading this I invite you to visit. And may the Lord continue to bless you richly!”
“I am a new member joined church on Happy Resurrection Day every one calls Easter. It's all about Jesus for me. My sister I grew up with Bridget Hargrove invited and I felt the spirit get me up, especially after he said if you don't have a church home come join us we are family here. I felt that the first day I stepped in Salems Church. Everyone is so nice kind and caring just sweet. I'm so happy to be apart of the family. Pastor Dates spoke and moved me. He preaches God's Word so beautifully. He makes you understand everything breaking it down and letting us hear what God has told him to teach us. I appreciate him very much. Thank you Father God for blessing us with your Son Dr. Charlie Dates. I love this church I am going through some things and my new church is helping me understand a lot. I give what I can every Sunday. I feel no matter what you have give back to God. I'm not selfish or stingy. I give from my heart with everyone. I miss my mom and dad grew up in the Beverly Hills Morgan Park area and attended Morgan Park highschool Mustang love went to the hoagy shop on 111th and when gramps was there on Longwood st right down the street from our high school, with the corn beed sandwiches the best eateries ever. My opinion ?!!! I just wanted to give The HOUSE OF HOPE SALEM'S BAPTIST CHURCH A SHOUT OUT!! IF U DONT BELONG TO A CHURCH AND WANNA HEAR THE WORD OF GOD PLEASE COME HERE. The classroom is absolutely adorable and is an excellent place for kids to build a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond. In addition, the faith-centered environment is a welcome addition to the standard preschool curriculum. My family couldn’t be happier having this school close to home.”
