My sales guy, Eric King, was FANTASTIC!! Though I didn't go in there with the intention of buying a new car (only went in for an oil change), he made the buying experience very pleasurable! No pressure, super friendly and just an all around great guy! This is my 3rd car from Happy Hyundai! They have a customer for life! Eric, thank you for all your help and patience!! You rock!!

Excellent customer service in the service department from Alicia. This was our first visit to Happy Hyundai. The Hyundai dealership service department closest to us is always too busy and can only schedule appointments for routine service a month or two out. Happy Hyundai scheduled us in one week, the service was within the expected time, with updates, and our service contact, Alicia, greeted us, and provided very professional and courteous service. My husband and I were even greeted very courteously when we at first entered the main dealership entrance. The dealership looked updated, bright, and well maintained. Excellent first experience. Worth going out of our way for.

I would totally recommend this dealership for anyone in hopes of waking out with a purchase. This was my first ever own vehicle purchase on my own. I had an awesome experience with the help of sales consultant Eric King. From the moment I walked in he was very pleasant and helpful. He made my process very smooth and comfortable. Very cool and funny guy that made such a long process very enjoyable. Eric answered all questions and concerns I had and made me feel even more confident with the choice I made. Would totally recommend Eric King as a sales consultant. ?

I made my first new-car purchase today and there’s no way I could have done it without Jake as my salesman! I arrived with my Dad to simply browse and Jake greeted us with warmth and knowledge on what to look for and how to budget this purchase. Not only did he show INCREDIBLE patience throughout the hurdles of choosing features, test-driving and translating to my dad all along — but he reassured me everything would work out. When I realized we would, indeed, be making a purchase (surprise!), i realized it was because of the trust we had in Jake. He proved that he genuinely had my best interest in mind when I came in looking at Santa Fe’s, but assessed that a Tuscon would be a better fit. My indecisiveness in colors and features never swayed him from giving us undivided attention and he went as far as getting the exact color combo from another dealership. It may have been a long day for all involved, but I felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer the entire day. With that being said, I can’t remember the finance guy’s name, but he was SO easy to talk with and made the final steps a breeze. Round of applause for this dynamic duo!

Wonderful experience here. Best customer service ever!!! Lee provided A+++ customer service and made feel like more than a number. Very attentive, kept me informed all the way with details of what they were doing. Sweetest and kindest gentleman you would love to meet. Gave me the best deal he could find. Mechanic did a great job to my satisfaction. I've been coming here for years and will continue to patronize Happy Hyundai. Everyone is very nice and nice environment.

Brought my car in for the same issue twice. They said on each occasion they couldn't find anything wrong but charged me 180$ the first time . The second time I brought it in they said the technician took my car for a test drive to find the problem for 10 minutes but I have a dash cam and that never happened!Every time I tried to talk to the service agent someone would pick up the phone and hang up. They even went further to lie that they called and left messages on my phone which never happened either time . Don't waste your time or money on this crook county dealership!!!!

BEWARE!! BEWARE! BEWARE!!“THE HAPPY ADVANTAGE” (DECLINE) $4600!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! This $4600 package includes S.W.A.T GPS (1 year subscription) This is a complete rip-off/scam!Bluelink(GPS- complementary for 3 years) is available in most 2023 vehicles & older Hyundai models. Why would anyone need 2 GPS systems at the same time?3 year interior protection IF you have any rips or tears. Not worth $4600 I’d rather pay once I get the rip, tear or stain.Priority loaner vehicles are not given with any/ every service. There is no such thing as being a priority. I waited over a month for a maintenance appointment.“Unlimited Carwashes” ($4600)I requested a car wash with my 1st oil change. No car wash was given. I was told no one was available to wash my vehicle.Hyundai recommends oil changes for my vehicle every 7500 miles. Happy Hyundai recommendation is 2800-3000 miles (scam). This is exactly why we’re told that every other oil change is covered under our warranty plan for a short period of time.If you do not make your maintenance appointments on time (with all the extra oil changes), with Happy Hyundai you will forfeit your tire protection plan.Please review your contract thoroughly before signing. Review your contract again (a 2nd time), especially if they tell you the information in the first digital contract was deleted. DO NOT ASSUME EVERYTHING IS THE SAME.

Vince is always on top of my issue whenever I stop by service. He explains everything very efficiently. He’s very sophisticated regarding my next steps and has not mislead anything regarding my car care. His communication is on point.There was an issue with my driver door that was covered under warranty, and I didn’t realize until I got home another issue accorded. I was expecting to wait all day for them to fix my issues, but my wait took no time at all. I was able to answer a few emails (on my day off) and before I knew it my car was washed, fixed and ready. Their waiting room has the best coffee, and I’m content as can be with the WiFi.

We were looking for a used car for my son, who needed a replacement vehicle after a car accident. We have owned Hyundais for many years and love them. After looking for cars on line, we saw many great deals at Happy Hyundai and decided to drive out and take a look. I was pleasantly surprised!! The staff are amazing and did a great job from start to finish. Eric King was our sales consultant and he was so great with us and our son!! We got a awesome deal and a great car, Hyundai Tucson, for our son!! I highly recommend going to Happy Hyundai of Oak Lawn!! Go see Eric, you won't be disappointed!!

If I could give less than a star, I absolutely would. I went in today to look at a car I've had my eye on. I read the reviews of the dealership before going in, and I'm glad I did. So many negative reviews all about the same thing. I drove the car. Loved it. Then the "negotiation" began. They horribly low balled on my trade and then the price breakdown. This RIDICULOUS 3700 package was tacked on. I told him I did not want it as I knew it was OPTIONAL. there were also adding for nitrogen filled tires, again laughable. I told him the bottom line I was willing to pay. The manager looked at it, crossed it out IN RED SHARPIE and gave their bottom line...29900 I've never seen anything so condescending in my life. I said, "uh yea, I WON'T be doing that".Context: this is a 24700 car and out the door they wanted 30k. I Bwahaha as if. No wonder your reviews are abysmal.

I gave an honest review of my experience... the review was "anonymous" only to be called the next day requesting that I give 5 stars- They offered to compensate me a tank of gas the next time I went in. (Did not accept the BRIBE). Good to know the level of dishonesty of this place. Unfortunately I paid a huge chunk so I'm going to continue getting service here, but I wouldn't recommend.

Concerning: SalesShort story/TLDR:(Keywords: markup and transparency)1. Happy Hyundai employs a pricing strategy involving markups, despite any claims from staff to the contrary. (Please refer to point #2 for further details.)2. The "Happy Hyundai Package" offered by this dealership involves markups, and negotiation over this aspect has been required in my experiences over the past 5 years.3. Despite being a returning customer, there were no special benefits or considerations offered.If they just were transparent to customers about markup this would help their reputation. Long story:Now, to elaborate:The process began with a phone call I made concerning my previous vehicle, which I had recently sold. During this call, I inquired about the 2023 Elantra N and specifically asked about any potential markups. The person I spoke with assured me that their dealership does not engage in markups. Based on this information, I proceeded with the understanding that I would be paying the sticker price, along with taxes, a documentation fee, and optional warranty coverage, if desired.Upon arriving at the dealership to inspect the vehicle, I had a pleasant interaction with Orlanda, who assisted me. He too, informed me that there were no markups involved. While we worked on the numbers to reach a agreeable price for the Elantra N, he eventually sought the input of the sales manager, Emanuel. It was at this point that I was told by sales manager there would be no room for negotiation on the price due to the rarity of the car, and that a markup was indeed applied (About five thousand dollars over msrp). When Emmanuel admitted markup (he literally said it), this revelation was disingenuous considering the dealership's claim of not engaging in markups. I expressed my concern regarding this lack of transparency, and I believe it is essential for the General Manager and owners to address this matter and provide customers with upfront and honest information to avoid wasting anyone's time.I urge Happy Hyundai in Oak Lawn to adopt a more transparent approach with their customers. Engaging in undisclosed markups tarnishes the reputation of the Hyundai brand. For a better experience, I would recommend considering alternative Hyundai dealerships outside the "Happy" network. I got the same Elantra N I wanted at a dealership for a much more fair and transparent price.
