Everything from negotiating a trade-in price, and car purchase price, and receiving the care came with HUGE PROBLEMS. The vehicle was FILTHY! The previous owner's information was stored in the car's informatics system! There were NO FLOOR MATS, food, and dirt under the seats, scratches that were deep and not visible (we bought the car at night). The car was dirty and the gas tank was EMPTY. Gone are the days when the customer experience mattered! This car went through an inspection? By a blind person? Calvin Tines was my salesperson, nice guy, but had an excuse for everything! I spoke to Katie Haggerty who was as excuse-laden as anyone. Lavonse Johnson basically told me I was a liar for telling him what was promised to me during our sales deal. This company made promises they did NOT KEEP. Very bad business model for those of us who live locally. Patrick Cunningham was the only person there in sales who was genuinely concerned about my experience. Patrick is the ONLY reason why anything got done! Service another pit hole. Promised a loaner. The promise was not kept! They charged me $179.00/ hour to diagnose 5 different things that were all related! $895.00 PLUS TAX and NO work was done! If I authorized the work, the price jumped to over $4000 for a broken drain tube in the sunroof and subsequent damage. I will be contacting the attorney general and filing a complaint as they violated the Automotive Repair Act issued by the IL General Assembly. This is price gauging! The whole experience was time-consuming, frustrating, and exhausting. I love the vehicle, however, I will travel 100 miles away next time to buy a car and NEVER ever patronize MIKE HAGGERTY BUICK GMC! I hope the Haggerty family is proud of the empire of junk they've built! They are laughing at the consumer all the way to the bank. Customers don't matter. It is clearly a self-centered bait-and-switch operation. Shame on MIKE HAGGERTY BUICK GMC!!!

My sales rep Ernesto was amazing. Very informative and attentive to my needs and the things that I wanted in purchasing a new car. He helped me get the job done and for that I am grateful.

I bought a new Encore in June is 2023. Several people including Bill Haggerty gave me his business card and said if you have any questions just call I called 3 different times not one person returned my call This was the 4th. Car I bought from Haggerty. I needed help not a thank you I was completely ignored. I had to drive back to the dealership twice for help. I look for a different car dealer the next time

Bought the car from Haggerty which was not a problem in 2018. Car ran well. Engine light when on. When I took to dealer wanted to charge me $189 to check why the light was on. Said know. I told a neighbor and he had a device that he just plugged into an area that diagnosed the problem. Took to a mechanic who did the same thing--no Charge. But after driving the car the light went off. A year later light came on again took it back to the dealer. had to be out of my mind. I told them what the problem was and they quoted me a price to fix it of $990 plus tax. Said know so took it to a mechanic in the area. He charged me $215. Service departments are a rip-off will never go there again. I did contact the dealer and told them about the descrepncy in the price, but they offered no explanation. They also wanted to charge me for a brake job I did not need.

I went into Mike Haggerty GMC on a whim, just wanted to test drive an Acadia. But two hours later Carlos had me in MY new Acadia and on my way home. He and the rest of the staff were so nice. I am really glad I purchased my vehicle from them.

Upon arriving a gentleman named Pedro greated me and walked me through a great experience. My issues, options, and coverage was explained. I was given a ride back to my home and my car was ready the following afternoon. They were all friendly, courteous, knowlegable, and services were done at a great price in a very fast time frame. I would definetely recommend Haggerty in Oak Lawn. They made a continous customer out of me ?

I came into this facility and within 2 hours I walked out the happiest person!!! They greeted me at the front door with big smiles and hand shakes. Alyssa had great customer services and was very nice and honest. Dan was a great assistance and very resourceful. And Paul wrapped everything up for me and made the last things go very smoothly. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Brandon my service associate was knowledgeable and polite and the Service Manager Mike was attentive to customer concerns and overall experience with the service team. I’ve been doing business with Haggerty since 2007 purchasing and getting service to new and used vehicles; they’re my 1st choice for all my vehicle needs!

Came in at 1230pm with an appointment for oil change and diagnostic. Was told by service writer would be 2 hours at the most. 3 hours later show up and vehicle wasn't even looked at yet and parked in parking lot. 10 minutes later they said another customer and I that had been waiting the same amount of time would be next. Asked for our keys and they made us walk to in their waiting lot to get out own vehicles. Very unprofessional and unacceptable!

Overall just an absolute great car buying experience. The staff from my starting point of looking at vehicles online to going in and purchasing was terrific. Kind, knowledgeable and honest. Also, if you go in ask for Frank, he was great to work with. Thank you!

The experience I had at Mike Haggerty Buick GMC was great! I would like to give my salesman, Ernesto Soule, 5 stars. He made it a smooth process from beginning to end. He was friendly, cordial, and helpful. Moreover, he made my family and I feel comfortable the entire time. In addition, Paul was great with the finance. I highly recommend this place and Ernesto if you want to buy a car.

I came in looking for my first car today & they set me up with Mark and Paul, both of them were great! After going to multiple dealerships over the weekend, this is the one dealership I can honestly say didn’t have shady business practices, tells it to you like it is and gets you in & out in a reasonable amount of time. I will definitely be supporting this dealership whenever the time comes to get another car!
