Lara Al-Ali and her wonderful staff are amazing. Only bank I know that greets you as you walk in. Very helpful in all aspects of the business. Whenever there’s an issue it gets resolved right away with a smile. It’s the type of service you go out of your way to find. A Bank is a Bank what makes the difference is the people.

I thought it was a trust bank but what happened today was .The problem is that some Employees don’t ask for ID Identification when you need to go into your safe box. So I can Easley Steel someone keys and pretend that it’s mine. So who’s responsible for the cost . That’s my point . I will give 2 more try’s & if no one asks about an ID I will be closing it. But checking out is great & the service for it is amazing & the bankers too.

I agree with 1 of the reviews that this bank is the worst Wintrust Community Bank which is due to the customer service that I've received when the Blonde White lady is working the Drive-thru on more than 1 occasion because she lied to my face about not ever having seen me before&previously giving me the wrong withdrawal slip which is exactly why I give the teller both my ID&debit card to make sure that I'm not given the wrong withdrawal slip along with lying to me about my available balance when it tells me online what my available balance is&when I asked to speak to a supervisor, she lies to my face that there's not a supervisor there trying to insult my intelligience when I'm definitely not stupid&know that there's a supervisor on duty&I went to another Wintrust Community Bank getting the withdrawal I requested without a problem&this is why I bank at another Wintrust Bank&have had my account there for 6 yrs&won't open an account at this bank or recommend this bank even though it's closer to me since I need to trust that any bank employee isn't lying to my face like the Blonde White lady has more than once. If you don't have trust with your bank, what do you have? You need trust with your bank or you have nothing&this Blonde White lady can't be trusted&if she was supposedly telling the truth, she shouldn't have had a problem getting her supervisor instead of lying about there not being a supervisor&customers need to be aware of the lies&that they can't trust this bank.

Their parking lot SUCKS!! There are about 20-25 spots and ALL of them were taken and certainly not as many people inside. If these are all employees, they should adopt the same rule as grocery stores. Upfront parking is for customers and handicapped employees ONLY! What a MESS! Now, most tellers there are friendly and helpful. I wasn't pleased with my visit today. I walked in and there were two tellers, neither had a customer. I had over $1,000 worth of quarters so I had to use their change counter. No problem. When I turned around, one of the tellers had a customer with MANY questions and the other teller was gone. I waited for the customer to leave while scanning for the other teller who was nowhere to be found. I walked up with the slip of the total amount of quarters. The teller (which I won't name just yet... maybe after my next visit) wasn't nearly as helpful as the others I've dealt with in the past year and a half.

Absolute worst place to bank!!! Outrageous overdraft policies, as well as a two buisness day to clear a check policy. So if you get paid on a Friday (which most of us do) you won’t see your money untill the following Tuesday. And I don’t have a direct deposit option. It’s exactly why they give you a bonus to use direct deposit cause they know the system in place is wack as f..k!! DO NOT BANK HERE!!!

Now that the lobby is open, I stopped by to conduct some business and was told that only one person is allowed in the lobby at any time. I was told to stand in the parking lot in 90+ degree weather and try and find some shade.

I was a customer on 5/29/2020,The line was out the door and down the sidewalk.when I got into the bank after a long wait I discovered that they had one teller working in the whole place on Friday..This place sure sucks and the management can go to hell.I know blame it on the virus.This place is a poor excuse for a bank. Chase bank across the street had four tellers working.

So I am in this bank trying to gain access to my mobile banking once again. Scott is the banker that I am speaking with and when I say this man is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL, that's an understatement. I am in front of him when a lady walks past and complements the Lemonade he made (that's not the issue) then his reply is oh yeah. that's due to the vodka that I added. I made the statement" That's professional " this person then replies yes I know thank you. Smh. Are you serious. Wintrust is a HORRIBLE BANKING INSTITUTION. Please save your time.

Nice people in the Oak Lawn branch, but the Wintrust online banking experience is pretty awful in every way. The mobile app is old and slow, it pops up with advertisements of services when you log in that you have to close to get to anything useful, and it often "forgets" your device which requires text verification (which doesn't always work) or a voice call (!) to enter a code. This makes it useless when you're, well, mobile, and out and about. The website similarly pops up with some kind of offer to get you to buy ior download something when you try to log in, and likewise "forgets" your computer and requires phone verification. The website has a new front-end, but you still get logged in to the ancient and clunky ".COMmunity banking" portal. The bank also does not connect well with any online financial tracking services like Mint, etc. Last straw for me was that I discovered there's a silent hold on my account - no one has reached out to me, but I attempted to do an ACH transfer and the online banking system said I would have to call in. Tech support, after a long investigation, discovered the hold, but can't figure out why it's there or how long it's been there. There's no note on why there's a hold. After 28 minutes or so on the phone they finally let me know I'd have to go into a branch to try to resolve it there. There's a lot of friendlier options out there, at least if you're looking for digital banking.
