Petco in Oak Lawn is a well-known store that offers a wide range of pet products and services. Customers appreciate the store's focus on pet health and wellness, with options for nutrition, supplies, grooming, veterinary services, and pet adoption. The store aims to provide quality care for dogs, cats, birds, small pets, fish, and reptiles, often at competitive prices. Many visitors find the staff to be friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable, especially praising team members who are helpful and patient in answering questions and providing guidance. Several reviews highlight the positive experiences with staff, with one customer emphasizing the exceptional service from a staff member named Sue, who was described as informative, patient, caring, and deserving of high praise. However, some reviews mention inconsistency in staff helpfulness, with occasional difficulty in getting assistance and some staff members being perceived as rude, especially in the fish area. One customer expressed frustration with a staff member's attitude and comments about their fish-keeping skills, despite having a well-maintained tank for years. The fish tanks are sometimes noted to be dirty or lacking care, and prices are viewed as high. Despite these issues, many customers still enjoy shopping at this Petco location and appreciate the neighborhood feel and the team members' friendliness. Overall, Petco in Oak Lawn is seen as a store that strives to meet pet owners' needs with a mix of positive customer service and areas for improvement.
