I had a terrible experience with customer service at this shop. I called to inquire about fixing an electrical issue in my vehicle. The worker I spoke with told me to get a diagnostic from the dealer and then call back. Before I could ask any more questions, the worker hung up on me. The entire time, the worker seemed annoyed and impatient. This is completely unacceptable.
To the owner, I kindly request that you retrain your employees and management on fundamental customer service skills. Inadequate customer service can severely damage a business’s reputation and lead to the loss of valuable business opportunities.

Communication wasn't as solid as it could be but all that matters is if quality work was done and the answer is yes.

Sent back to STAR, by the dealer, since they originally serviced my vehicle before i considered purchasing it, for the engine not working properly.
Got it back, and it was not working properly.
🤔 So i decided to ask another mechanic for a second opinion before purchasing it. In plain sight above the engine, a hose was completely loose (clamp not tightened).
The vehicle has ran perfectly since that one clamp was tightened, and somehow missed twice by STAR.
The best way to describe it all, it was SUSPECT. JMO🤷🏾♂️
I personally won't ever visit them for any type of work, myself.

I took my car in for a standard oil change on Friday, April 25th. On Saturday the 26th I noticed that the engine splash guard was hanging from my car as I was driving. I attempted to call Star Auto but they were closed. Upon calling the following Monday to ask about this, I was told that the technician forgot
to tell me about some missing bolts and completed the oil change without replacing them. It should be noted that prior to the oil change there was NEVER an issue noted about the engine splash guard hanging down. However, now it appears Star Auto wants to place the blame on someone other than themselves stating that the Audi dealership likely left the screws out when they repaired my car six months ago. I find that hard to believe that after several months, including the winter, this is now surfacing. I asked about them replacing the engine splash guard, which is now damaged to the point that it needs to be replaced. Star Auto, Ronnie specifically, refused to take responsibility for their error and negligence. Now I’m saddled with purchasing a new one for about $300 plus labor. I’ve had MANY discussions with Ronnie about my issues with Audi not taking responsibility for ongoing engine problems with my car. He told me that is what they do to avoid taking responsibility, including covering the cost of the repair of something that is their responsibility. Now, here I am experiencing the same thing with him. They agreed to put in the missing bolts, which they did today 4/30 but will not accept responsibility for their technician not replacing them “missing” bolts and covering a new engine splash guard which was damaged due to their negligence. I will NEVER return there as they appear to be as much of a problem as dealership service departments with being deceptive and not taking responsibility for their mistakes. DON’T GO THERE AND EXPERIENCE THE SAME SHODDY SERVICE!!!
