BRUTAL pharmacy. The technicians act tortured. Your prescriptions will not be filled. You will ask ask and ask again even in person for them to be filled and it will not happen. If you value your life depending medications DO NOT GO HERE!!!!changing my location of pickupedit: I have BCBS and went to pick up a prescription and was told it was $500 to get it!!! I said that cant be right and the lady said she 'ran it again' and it came down to $20 something. If this was a regular business id report it to the BBB. Heathcare scamming here

Worst pharmacy ever!! They do not answer their phone and they are rude. I will definitely be going elsewhere. It's a shame when you have a child who needs their medicine to live and the pharmacy that is supposed to help you get their necessary meds, seems put out whenever you have any questions for them. I'd give them a zero but that is not an option.

My last two experiences with the Pharmacy have been extremely troublesome. Both times the medications that were ordered weren't covered by our insurance, both times I told the person that answered the phone in the pharmacy not to fill the part of the prescription that was not covered by our insurance, both times when my husband picked up my prescriptions they had filled the prescription that wasn't covered along with a cheaper version of the medication that was covered by our insurance!! After calling to complain they told me that once the medications were picked up they couldn't be returned! Both times we had to have an argument with the manager. This is totally unacceptable! What if I didn't have a medical background and I took both medications and my heart slowed to the point that I passed out or worse, when you are ill you just want to get better. You trust the pharmacists and staff to know what they are doing. SMH, time to find a pharmacy where they know what they are doing!!

Snotty peoples who talk down to customers. Stand around talking when there are lines of people waiting. Not very helpful in this pharmacy. On the floor the other personnel are very helpful especially the managers and check out people. Someone needs to have a talk with the pharmacy, I had the same experience at another Walgreens hoping this one would be better but it’s not. Seriously searching for another store I can get my meds from.

Walgreens, in my opinion, really has to review the customer service provided by the pharmacy here in Oak Lawn. I walked in yesterday to pick up my significant others prescription. When I got in line there were 3 people ahead of me for Rx's and 1 waiting for Covid-19. While it forever to complete the transaction of the person already at the window, 2 other people arrived behind me. Then another couple walked in and got into the Covid line. The person working, Armon, then took care of the first gentleman waiting for Covid then proceeded to take the couple that just walked in leaving the 5 who were already there waiting. I got in line at 12:30 and by the time I received the Rx and walked out it was 1:18. When I asked why he bypassed the 5 of us, he claimed that he is only 1 person working the counter and he wasn't going to debate with me. I turned around and looked at the line and saw everyone shaking their head. I informed him that what I told him was the truth, his response? Call corporate.......nice customer service. And you may wonder why most of stores receive 2 or 3 stars.

Made an appointment for vaccine. Deciided to go on my lunch break. Mistake 1. Got a confirmation email to arrive 15 minutes early. As instructed arrived early (mistake 2), stood in long line, finally made it to front. They didn't have the paperwork I filled out online to save time. Had to fill it out again . Now it's noon and waiting. Finally got waited on at 12:17, glad I got there early so I could wait 1/2 hour. The pharmacy is overwhelmed and understaffed. Will NOT be coming here for a flu shot.

I have been trying to reach someone in the pharmacy for over 40 minutes. When I finally get through I was barley able to get my words out because the person kept talking over me and rushed the call. Very disappointed and will be transferring to CVS.

Be aware that this Walgreens does not require customers to wear masks. I walked in the store today and saw outraged customers yelling at a family who were not wearing masks. One member yelled back, "It's a free country," meaning they could do what they wanted, even though mask wearing is a state law. I complained to management, and was told they were following corporate policy, and had to wait on these people. Really? Though I will still use the pharmacy drive-through (which has other issues), but will go to CVS for other store shopping. I find it ironic that Walgreens cares little about the well-being and health of their shoppers. Starbucks will turn away customers not wearing a mask, but not Walgreens? Shame on Walgreens! Sadly, it appears Walgreens isn't concerned about the well-being of its employees, either.

If I could give this pharmacy a zero I would. Cannot understand why the management of this particular pharmacy location hasn't been changed. So many people have been complaining for years . If you can fill your prescriptions elsewhere I would highly recommend it.

Very Disappointing to hear the horrible racist customer service behavior by a Manager named Amber to paying customers. Plus the disappointment by Police that were called to better the situation and show correct justice but didn’t. They followed the incorrect racist story of the so called Manager. No justice and then wonder why ppl can’t trust police

HIRE MORE PHARMACY STAFF!!! THE APP IS NOT AVAILABLE TO TAKE MY REFILL. I CALLED AND CALLED. WAS ON HOLD FOR 30 MINUTES. THE RECORDING FINALLY SAID ONE CALLER AHEAD OF ME. THEN...DISCONNECTED!!! I CALL BACK AND THERE ARE MORE THAN THREE CALLERS AHEAD OF ME!!! IS ANYONE WORKING TODAY? HIRE MORE PHARMACY STAFF!!!
