I left a big bank for lack of service and went to Bank of America in Oak Park and now I have great service. They actually answer the phone when you call. April and Hector furnished fantastic professional service. Thanks for everything!

Bank locations in Chicago for the most part can be a mess depending on who is in charge but the manager Hector in this one keeps this location in order and is very straightforward and dedicated.

6720 Roosevelt RoadOak Park, IL 60304I went to the Oak Park, IL Bank of America on May 17, 2023 to open up a business account, I already have a personal bank account. I worked with April Slugg. She would not open the account for me and I felt that she was racially profiling me and was treated me very disrespectfully. She talked loudly and tried to humiliate me in front of the other clientele and was extremely unprofessional. I left the bank frustrated and embarrassed.I went to Crestwood, IL Bank of America on May 19, 2023 where I had opened my personal account. I worked with Kimberly Williams to open my business account. She was professional and courteous and was able to open the account and deposit my business check at 11:34am in the amount of $45,858.95. I was told there would be a hold on the account until May 31. The next time I tried to check my account I was unable to log in as the account was locked. I had to go into the bank and was told the check had cleared. I had to talk to people in the Risk Department, Claims Department, and Fraud Department stating that the check was fake.Of course, I was unable to get my original check back (as it was cashed). I was then told I would receive a cashier’s check, which was also reneged on. Lastly, I was told they would send the money back to the IRS and the IRS could resend me another check. In talking with the IRS they have never heard of anything like this happening before.I am planning to pursue legal action as there was a multitude of shady business practices involved. My biggest question is where was the money from the time you cashed the check and who was receiving the interest on that money? For a reputable bank this is completely unsatisfactory. I am still without my money.

Bad service & just wasting timeEverytime I go there but they don't have enough change(quarters ) . Was waiting 25 minutes for change. Will Find another location

Often it takes 20-30min wait in lin just to take out some quarters or drop off a check. They’re nice but understaffed. There are 7 teller windows and only ever one person working - maybe 2. Please schedule more people.

I don't normally bank at this location but ran in yesterday because it was nearest to the title company where I was closing on a new home purchase. I had an emergency/time-sensitive request in order to be able to close that day. They jumped on it! My ability to close that day would have been prevented if it had not been for the staff at this location and their willingness to help me immediately. From the teller, to the manager and personal banker, they were so quick about helping me resolve the issue and super pleasant and courteous. This will definitely be my new preferred BOA location. Thanks again guys, you were amazing!

Often it takes 20-30min wait in lin just to take out some quarters or drop off a check. They’re nice but understaffed. There are 7 teller windows and only ever one person working - maybe 2. Please schedule more people.

Lines lines lines....4 attendants walking around with nothing to do while 6 people wait in line for 30 minutes and one person provides service. Go elsewhere whenever possible for better banking teller services.
