This place is the best. The cuts they have are always fresh and priced better than most places. If you want to dine in you can and it’s a guaranteed FEAST for a meal. They partner with many local companies to bring not only fresh meat and fish; but also honey, coffee, and even wood for smoking.

Dude! I ordered the hangar steak to-go with roasted vegetables and potatoes. Probably one of the best steaks for the price I have had in a while. Quality cut of meat and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend!

Alright so, I don't normally make reviews, but I had to for this place. I've been here only twice and I swear to god they make the best damn chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. The actual meat tastes great, and the breading is actually adherent to the chicken itself. Every other component of the sandwich is great. Good lettuce, tomato, onions, and some kind of ketchup jam. A bun that doesn't fall apart. It tastes like everything is seasoned to perfection. Hell, even the fries are seasoned.
Now I get it, this combo here is 18$ and can take ~15 minutes to wait, but it is worth it. If you're worried about the cost, just take a look at general fast food inflation combos lately, this place obviously worth the price. If you're worried about the wait, just take a look around the shop. Support small businesses. Also, the staff are very nice and personable. Can't wait to return when I have another craving. Thanks!

I spent a small fortune on this year’s brined Thanksgiving turkey from Carnivore. Here to tell you I have 0 regrets it was the most delicious turkey of my life. Also the dude I talked to on the phone to order was awesome and I enjoyed our conversation. And I met the turkey farmer! Can’t wait to order again.

5 stars if it was on the idea/vision/people….unfortunately this place just doesn’t execute as well for me as the hype.
The BLT was pretty good, the bacon burger was missing bacon, the cheese was not melted at all, and the meat could use a little more seasoning. Fries were solid.
The prices are WILD. $45/pound for ribeye, even locally sourced, is bananas.
I REALLY wanted to love this place. I get the vision, it just didn’t hit.

Great food, skilled and knowledgeable staff! Every time I visit Oak Park, Carnivore is on the list of places I vist. The Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger is Outstanding - always farm fresh and cooked perfectly!

I ordered a whole white fish for stuffing and asked that the guys remove the bones. And this was done to perfection - nary a bone in the finished baked fish that was just so fresh and delicious. While in to pick up the pre-ordered fish, I spied crab cakes in the display. I rather offended the guys by asking if they were good. My company are a fussy lot but everthing I've had from Carnivore has been super, so I took three 1/4 pound cakes. And they were literally AMAZING. Scant filler, all crab, subtley seasoned. With just a little browning in olive oil and warming through at 350F for 15 minutes, served on mixed greens, this was a perfect starter for the meal. Thank you, Carnivore, for delivering - again!
