I have nothing but bad things to say about Citibank. Their terms are outrageous and their call center employees are the worst I've ever encountered anywhere. I can't understand them, they can't understand me, and all they do is read scripts that have no relevance to my call. You'd think that it might be possible to have a better experience in person at a Citibank branch. But you'd be wrong. The people at this branch are the laziest, dumbest, most worthless bank employees around. I strongly recommend that you not visit this location. Even better, cancel all your Citibank accounts and have a happier life from there on out.

must be branch manager Maria that makes the difference. Met her two weeks ago after a terrible experience at another Citibank branch at a south Cook county location. i had a problem at that branch and felt unwelcomed. Maria and Tinley Park branch was a world. She made me feel welcomed. She looked into my problem and got it solved and it was resolve Earlier than promised. Good job Maria, thank you and God bless.

I bank with Citibank because their customer service is simply the best. The staff at the Tinley Park office are knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Most importantly, they won't push anything that isn't going to be in your best interest. They put the needs of their client's first and always have a smile and kind word. I have never felt rushed or pressured with any banking process. As a disabled Vet, Im incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have such an amazing staff available to help me navigate my finances and always willing to take the time to answer and explain any questions I have. Kindness, a smile, and patience go a long way, and the staff here genuinely understands that aspect.

Extremely poor customer service at the Tinley Park IL office. Very unwelcoming with a negative attitude. Felt insulted.

Worst branch in the Chicago land area. Bank Manager Patty is extremely rude and not helpful at all. She over talks you, doesn't listen to your request or concerns and has a negative approach about any questions you may have.

This branch used to be hospitable, but that seems to have fallen by the waist side. It is also clearly evident that employee morale is low. Everyone keeps make snide comments under their breath and don't really try to hide it. There are three incidents that I like to touch upon. 1.) I was there a couple weeks ago, to ask a question and the woman who is stationed at the customer service desk or welcome desk was completely rude. She talked down to me as if she was talking to a child. I would never talk to a child in the manner she talked to me. Instead of helping to solve my problem she recommended to use a third party service. If you want people to still visit and use brick and mortar branch locations, maybe you shouldn't recommend third party services. I want to the Orland Park location and while they couldn't assist me they gave a thorough explanation of how Citibank was removing said service and gave me various options to help meet needs. 2.) There was huge mistake on one of statements, I called this particular location and the woman on the other end of line said she could not help as this branch does not offer those services. I found that to be incredibly odd as they were the ones to help set up this service for me in house. I brought up this to her attention and she completely side step my inquiry. So the following day I went to the Orland Park branch, were they not only solved my problem, but inquired how they could better be of service to ensure this problem never arose again. 3.) I had been doing a couple of home improvement jobs around my house so I was getting a little low on funds. I received a courtesy call, which I appreciated but the woman on the other side kept pushing for me to setup a meeting with one of the personal bankers. I declined and assumed that would be the end of that. I was wrong. Instead, I received a phone call stating that I missed an appointment; I never set one up. Apparently the woman I had spoked to had done so, even though I explicitly said no and was trying to guilt trip me. I told her no and not to do that again. She kept hounding me, to the point I stopped picking up the phone. After this latest incident, I promptly decided to stop banking at this location. Instead I have switched over to the Orland Park location and couldn't be happier!

The staff here is exceptional. They know me by name and all of them will bend over backwards to answer all my questions about any money or credit topic. Instructions about online banking are wonderful. Each person from the manager to the tellers to the staff who opens accounts etc. Make me feel like a friend. I LOVE going to this branch.

The ATMs at this bank suck. If they don't have money to dispense they can't take your checks. It never fails that i have to back out of one of the ATMs to move to the other because it's not functioning properly. This is a joke
