  Loved that my name was on the sign welcoming me. Cute touch! The salon is really nice. Angelina did a fabulous job with my hair! I came for a blow out on Valentine's Day while I was in town and would definitely go back. Photo doesn't do it justice but got compliments all weekend.

  I recently had the pleasure of getting a partial foil done by Tina , and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the moment I walked into the salon, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by Mara. Tina took the time to listen to my preferences and offered expert advice tailored to my hair type and desired look. Tina ensured that every section was perfectly blended with my grays, resulting in a natural and fresh appearance.

  Love this salon. I'm a guy with curly hair, so finding a stylist can be tough. Raz has been styling my hair for at least a year, and now my wife goes here as well for Raz's exceptional talent! The salon itself is fun and energetic, and the wash before the cut is a wonderfully relaxing experience!

  I’ve been blonde for quite some time and recently decided to transition back to my natural hair color, which is brown. During my appointment, the stylist attempted to match my hair to the extensions they had available. The entire process took about three hours, but the end result was far from what I expected—my hair turned out completely black instead of brown. I felt deeply disappointed, and by the time I got home, my unhappiness with the result intensified to the point of tears.
  
  When I expressed my concerns to the stylist, pointing out that the color looked black rather than brown, she explained that transitioning from blonde to brown can alter the appearance of the shade. While I can understand that, I cannot understand how brown ended up as black. She also mentioned that if they had chosen a higher number, it would have been too light, and a lower number would have been much darker. However, I would have preferred starting with a slightly lighter shade and adjusting from there, rather than ending up with black hair, which is much harder to fix.
  
  Adding to my disappointment, the stylist didn’t even complete a proper blowout, citing a lack of time, despite my having booked a full appointment. Instead, I was placed under an outdated drying machine that didn’t even dry my hair properly. When I asked to use a blow dryer, I was told it wasn’t allowed for safety reasons, yet high school students assisting in the salon were blow-drying other clients’ hair. As a result, I had to walk home for 41 minutes with wet hair, which was both frustrating and unacceptable.
  
  I chose this salon expecting high-quality service and value for the money I was spending. Instead, I left feeling like I could have achieved a better result with a box dye from Walgreens, as I’ve done successfully many times before. This experience was, without a doubt, the worst I’ve ever had at what was supposed to be a professional, upscale salon. A refund needs to be issued.

  I had an incredible experience at James Anthony Salon! I came in for a haircut for my curly hair and, while the initial result wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned, the professionalism and courtesy I received when I returned exceeded all expectations.
  
  Tina, the manager, and Kathy, my stylist, handled the situation with such grace. Tina made sure to emphasize that Kathy hadn’t done anything “wrong,” but instead used this as an opportunity to refine techniques and enhance customer communication. Watching Tina guide Kathy through the process of cutting curly hair while explaining every step was impressive and educational—not only for Kathy but for me as a customer!
  
  The final result? Stunning. My curls now have the perfect shape, bounce, and movement I was hoping for. Both Tina and Kathy went above and beyond to ensure I was happy, and their commitment to learning and improving was truly inspiring.
  
  If you’re looking for a salon that values professionalism, kindness, and expertise, this is the place. I highly recommend both Tina and Kathy for their exceptional service and dedication to their craft!

  I have been a customer of the salon for seven years. I look forward to my haircut every five weeks. I get so many compliments after my haircut it is truly an uplifting experience from the spa like experience with the hair wash / neck massage to the professional haircut that makes you look years younger, I don’t think it gets any better. Treat yourself you deserve it. Jim is my stylist, but from my experience, all of the stylist are at the top of their game

  Been coming here for multiple years and this weekend reminded me that I have no plans to go anywhere else! My normal stylist was unavailable so I booked with a newer stylist named Emily. She was great! I was so happy with my cut and shampoo and the attention to detail she gave. I left feeling like I had new hair. I would highly recommend this salon and stylist to anyone. Prices for hair cut and styling are very fair for this higher end salon!

  Kathy was great! I have really loved the shape of my haircut! She was really honest about the length (telling me it looked better longer) and the head massage in the zen room was so nice and relaxing. I definitely recommend!

  First time here and OMG I felt like a princess after I left. The hair washing , massage scalp and neck massage 10/10 and haircut 10/10. I haven’t had a haircut for over a year after having my baby so it was looking a little rough but Gabby did such an amazing job! she’s super friendly and made me feel very comfortable.
