If you want a local mechanic who will help in a pinch and who is consistently there for you then this is your guy. Several times he has charged me nothing to look at a light or hook up a monitor for a quick analysis. Yes you will need an appointment to do anything major. No they are not cheap but they do stand behind their work.

The price is comparable to a dealership and the service is subpar. Wish they were more transparent on their price upfront. I guess there is always a risk of paying for something you don’t know you were paying for when you send your car to a shop. Some places are just worse than the others.

I keep vehicles a long time and often get to well over 150K miles. I'm able to do it in part because of Oak Park Citgo.They fix what needs fixing and give me a heads up on what maintenance is needed soon. Work is ALWAYS done on time and no surprises when they hand me the bill.

Great service from this shop! I cannot recommend them enough. Highly trustworthy mechanics and they were direct when discussing problems with my vehicle. They couldn't get me in immediately, but that is because they provide very good service. Easy to get a hold of someone when calling in. Their team is knowledgeable and takes care in the work that they do. This location is an amazing option if you are experiencing vehicle problems.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Our family has been helped quite a bit by these guys. For instance, I had my wife's car towed there one evening because the water pump failed. They had it up and running by mid afternoon the next day, purring like a kitten.
