US Bank Branch, 11 Madison, Oak Park, IL receives 5 stars for serving the Westside community! Cynthia A and Gloria J. and many other bankers make this happen! Many years ago, I open my accounts when I was teaching in the Austin community, US bank reps visit the school. On my recent visit, I saw a different style of banking, Community Banking! Assisting individual with special needs and concerns The customers in the community will stand in long lines outside to receive personal banking services, at this location. If these individuals didn't have these types of services, they may become discouraged about the modern banking technology. This is another situation that gives me a different light about banking....

This was one of the worst experiences. I pulled up to the drive through to cash a check on a Wednesday at about 11am. The teller took the check, my I.D. and completely disappeared as I sat waiting in the drive through for 40 minutes for her to return. Did she go to lunch? She never returned but finally, a completely different teller (a guy) appeared to complete my transaction. He stated he was sorry for any inconvenience but did not offer any explanation as to why I had to sit and wait for 40 minutes. This is totally unprofessional and a complete lack of respect for my time. I am very disappointed at the lack of professionalism.

I & my family has been with this bank since I was little & it was named 1st Bank of Oak Park. I was recently almost caught up in a scam I immediately notified them went to rectify the problem. Was told by the fraud department that it was the managers decision. After calling for her all day only to get her 15min before closing to tell me she didn't feel comfortable removing the hold & allowing my accounts to stay open. If I was apart of this or didn't want my accounts I would not have gone directly to them when I got the alert. Did I mention I had all the proof of communication with the scammers to show I didn't know....I am a city employee recently injured on the job. I had 3 accounts open & they were jus about to start direct depositing into 2 of my accounts. Now I have to go open another account with another bank, give them that info, wait for my money to bounce back so they can cut me a check & mail it out and then start the new direct deposit. I'm already struggling & this jus made things even worst.SO MUCH FOR LOYALTY TO LONG TIME CUSTOMERS

It took 45 minutes for the car in front of me to submit a transaction. Not sure what the hell is going on inside. This location has put a bad look on U.S. Bank

25 minutes behind 1 person in the drive up. I arrived at 4:30, pulled out at 5:00 (closing time), and they were stacked 4 cars deep in a double line. They are horribly understaffed

Stood outside in the cold for more than 30 minutes in a line that was about 40 deep before someone thought enough of us to come outside and explain that not only was their system down, but there was no cash in the ATM on the premises. The representative advised those of us standing in the line to try the branch in Maywood, which was inconvenience for probably everyone standing in the line, including myself. Why would people be standing in line in the cold if they were driving? Incidentally, there were about 20 cars waiting to get to the drive-through...There were mostly elderly people in standing in that line, most of whom likely walked from their homes in Oak Park or on the west side of Chicago. How were they to get to Maywood? Why should they have to? It's bad enough that all of the other branches in the area are still closed, there was no money in ANY of the ATM's in Oak Park, either. I had to use a different bank's ATM just to get cash, which I NEVER do because of the extra fees. US Bank customers affected by whatever is going on the Oak Park/Forest Park area should be reimbursed fees because they were forced to use alternative ATM's, or even compensated for having to go out of their way to an out of area branch of US Bank. I do know that if I have to keep using another bank's ATM to get cash out of MY US Bank account, I will simply take my business to that bank ??♀️

The Drive thru is too slow we been here since 8:56 and it’s 9:52 and we still waiting??♀️. It was only 3 cars in front of us. They need to the open the inside and start letting a certain amount of people in since it’s a pandemic.

I understand everything is different with Covid going on. I was in line for 35 minutes with two cars in front of me. Then they said they were closed even though I was there 45 minutes before the closing time with my four year old. I am switching banks

Been here several times due to how close it is to our home but not once was I able to get out of there in a reasonable amount of time. Tellers don’t care how slow they are and how long the lines are.
