This Holiday Inn isn't a destination of choice. It's where you find yourself when you've reached the 55th second of the last minute.

Odd that they tout a 2024 remodel, would have been scared to see what it was like before. Was rough to start when luggage cart couldn't make the lip due to tile in elevator being likely installed on top of old tile. Elevators where a bit scary as a few times I literally stood inside waiting for doors to close for a more than a minute. Un-nerving.
Pool closes at some inexplicable reason at 7pm (and that's with required wrist bands to keep out non-guests).
Windows on street side did nothing to quiet the 6 lane road outside, but it was very off-putting to listen to pounding music from the bar until midnight. That is a wild and stupid problem the property should be well in control of.
Hosted a conference, but 1 conference room as a makeshift room on 2nd story that was best visited via the steps, which is telling.
Key cards were deactivated 30 minutes before stated checkout which left a mad scramble/wait at front desk that could have been better used at the conference.
Not worth a repeat visit.

Stay at H Inns 150 days a year.
Hotel was fine. Awkward narrow si guess lane front check inn. Park in back.
But front staff super nice. Took care of H Inn food coupons even though it's a 3rd party restarunt.
One of the nicest things a H Inn hotel manager has done for me as a priority club member in 200 HI hotel night
stays this past yr. Rooms nice . Nice quality food at on-site restaurant. Will always stay here on future Chicagi trips. Period. HI traveling Member since 1997.
Funny the first yrs of the program your member # was your SS#. Lol.
Don't listen to these crybabies posting.

Pool closes at 7 😭😭. We went down for extra towels and were told that they didn't have any until the cleaning crew got there at 9 am. Otherwise the rooms are clean. Staff was nice. Bar Louis charges automatic gratuity of $20 for everybody I think. We were only a party of 3.

Great stay! The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and check-in was fast. The breakfast was tasty, and the location was perfect for restaurants and shopping. I’d definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this location on the 4th October - 6th October, which was booked through Airbnb, upon arrival I paid the deposit fee of $50 which i was told it would be returned to me within 7-10 business days. However, it had been 4 weeks now, and the deposit has still not been released to me. I have since contacted the hotel and so has their AirBnB host and we both have not had a reply from the hotel. Poor customer services and communication

A decent place to stay. A little far from downtown, so traffic was more than I expected. Also I was told the pool was closed, so did not bring a bathing suit, but when we arrived we could smell the chlorine. So that was a bit disappointing.
